This is a wonderful app. It gives the experience of using a letterpress and the end product has the feel of a hand pulled print. The choices of typefaces are superb! It is well worth the price.Dsheck
Fun app
This app is really fun for letting your active juices flow. It can be a little bit too sensitive in terms of stability when moving the pieces around with your fingers. However, it makes great, old looking prints!OutlanderNC
Excellent
I was unsure about this app. I thought why do I want to go through such a manual process when a good grahics app would do the same thing? Then the more I used it and got through the learning curve, I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, when you fall in love you want more!
Great additions would be:
1. more images, borders. Probably an inApp purchase
2. an ability to create unique images for yourself and import them probably in the galley tray or in type & art
3. save and load from dropbox
Altogether this is an impressive app that I would recommend to anyone who will persevere through its learning curve.Show lessappuser500

Fascinating
As a total newbie, I settled for this to print poems & song words for a tribute book. You've got to be prepared to learn it, but I had no experience at all & am finding my way around within a day. It sounds good, feels good & is a fascinating app to work with. The results are beautiful. One question (experienced printers block your ears) any chance we could have a comma? Or is it there & I'm missing it? Worth every penny though.Show lessBeardieBonkers

SUGGESTIONS:
This seems mean since you just gave us a FREE update, but sizing type in the tray is a bit wonky. You can drag to change type sizes but it doesn't feel smooth (it needs to be like how you resize a brush in Sketchbook Pro...smooth). I know u can tap left or right to do small resizes, but it's easy to hit the "triple a".
I'd like to be able to import "parts" of a project from galley trays and combine things.
More type. That's a given.
Even though these suggestions seem major, I still give it five stars. It's the only app of it's kind and it's on a great start.Show lessDrummertist
Pretty good, although...
I would have given this at least 4 stars if it weren't for the fact that there's no undo button. In the majority of apps this wouldn't bother me, but it is vital in an app like this which isn't exactly intuitive or simple. There have been countless occasions when I accidentally remove a piece or put something in the wrong place, due to no storage section and a lack of space to work with, which frustrates me no end because I can see how much potential this app has and how much time I would spend on it were it not for those main two niggles.
If a future update includes an undo option or a section on one side of the screen where you can temporarily place things without disrupting the other blocks then i will definitely give this 5 stars, but for now I can't rate it any higher than three.Show lessMatteo garararararara
