  • On the right track

    I like how they include the Deaf ecosystem links in their app, plus have a number searching feature in both their desktop and mobile apps, unlike the other two VRS companies’ apps. Signing up was so easy & quick, even giving you the opportunity to pick out your number before fully submitting your registration withOUT going through their customer service.

    Interpreter wait times are the shortest with this service. I am effortlessly able to verify my Convo number with services that verify by phone call.

    There are three features I wish Convo had:
    1) Companion app equivalent to Purple/Z’s Sivo or Sorenson’s Wavello so that non-signers can have interpreted video calls with me withOUT requiring me to dial around to the other two companies
    2) Personalized greetings for videomail
    3) Willingness to issue point-to-point only VP numbers to ASL-fluent hearing individuals without speech disabilities that would qualify them to use VRS interpretation services. Despite being the first to acknowledge that FCC rules allow for hearing signers to be issued VP numbers, they still refuse to do this.

  • Lack of security features

    This app hasn’t updated security features in a very long time. It’s causing a headache wondering when the app will finally have issues and it did. Am now switching to different VRS provider because of this careless move. Do not download this until this app stuff is up to date.
  • App that remains unaddressed

    For the past 4 years, the app stopped functioning normally and despite the numerous reports I sent, it hasn’t been improved. I’ve gone through a few different devices and the same issue persists across all devices (desktop Mac, iPhone, iPad). At this point, it’s evident Convo is not really interested in actually providing a quality app for its consumers.

  • Wont let me answer calls

    Convo is not an intuitive app for less tech savvy folks like me. I have missed crucial calls because it would not let me answer the calls. The incoming calls would automatically send to answering machine. It got to the point that I had to switch to a different provider.
  • Deafeco system map

    I am not able to view the deaf business map. I only see the list. It’s difficult for me select where I want or where the businesses are due to no visual reference. I would like to have a showing the business on map again. Thank you.
  • Terrible

    Literally so bad. Video view of interpreters take forever to show up, can’t even function properly via data on the go so I have to try to find a place with wifi for the app to work, calls keep getting hung up on me, and not to mention the terrible wifi interpreters have at their working stations at home resulting in terrible calls and unhappy callers. So so frustrating. A cumulatively BAD app. Been having so many issues for a long time.

  • Awful build

    The app constantly logs you out and then you face problems trying to log in (endless loop of wait time) and I’d have to delete the app and download it again just to finally log in. I’ve had three different phones and the same issue persisted across these phones. It’s the app and the way it is built.

  • I love this, just one suggestion

    I just love the app I really do. One suggestion would be able to use this app like when going to the doctors office and they don’t have an ASL translator. Which happened to me the other day. So I called my friend and told him to hang up and see if the ASL translator could stay on and translate for me but they were unable to. This would be cool if you could add some thing like that because it took about 10 minutes to find one online. But overall I have no complaints I really love the app thank you guys

  • Poor video quality…

    Could be better if they improved their video quality.
  • Ignore the app need to update or fix bugs.

    I cannot make any call due to cannot connect to WiFi. I called to customer service. They said it’s my WiFi problem and the modem need restart…we already restart WiFi modem several times. Suggested use cellular and it works but 1-2 bars in my area and no good to make call. Other VRS always updated their app for bugs and more features. I wish, this company will stop to extension in other countries. Focus on the app bugs and company.
