  • Really helpful!

Great little organizer - sets tasks by day, week, month and sets them to repeat regularly if needed.
  • Manager

    Simple and uncomplicated
  • So far, so perfect!

I’m a task-app aficionado, and I’ve been let down virtually 99% of the time. I have no problem paying for apps (if it’s like, what, $7⁰⁰ a year, and it makes my life much more efficient, I’d say that’s worth a few coffees!) and very rarely have I found one that I will even tolerate keeping on my phone.

If I don’t like it, it’s 86’d and never considered for a second chance - I like customizability, and I prefer compartmentalization. I cannot stand when apps force various unrelated tasks to congregate in a focal area, because that doesn’t bode well for me.
I have ADHD, and compartmentalizing the various to-do’s of my life are the only way that I can get through to-day. This app has floored me, because I’ve practically given up hope of finding something that I would genuinely find so closely aligned with my particular desires within a task-master app.

Is it absolutely perfect for what I had in mind? Of course not - I doubt anyone could design an app that would unless I did it myself. And while I do program, I don’t feel like learning swift, so that’s not exactly on the table at the moment.

Kudos, developers, for a truly spectacular app. This is money well spent (also, I use that other one - the Pomodoro-focused timer app that’s been developed by the same enterprise: BeFocused - it’s also worth checking out).

  • Horrible app, can’t cancel

Just keeps billing you with no way to cancel.
  • GTasks Is Wonderful!

I have used this app for three days now, and I learned quickly to make sure that when I sync to my G tasks on my Google calendar that I put everything into the default task list. Otherwise, you will have two different lists with the same name. I didn’t have that many tasks in the list so I just simply re-copied them to the default and deleted the one on my phone. It automatically created the sync list to the phone so that I only have one on the computer and one on the phone. So far it works great.

  • So functional and fun to use

I love gTasks. There’s so many features for organising and scheduling tasks. The integration with Google Calendar is so helpful. Having all events and tasks in one app is a real time-saver.

    Très bien
  • Used to be really good, constantly loses sync now without any indication

This used to be very reliable and indispensable for me.

Unfortunately, I’m constantly finding that the app on my phone is out of date lately, and it’s only because I realize items I checked off elsewhere haven’t propagated to my iOS device. When I go to check on the account sign-in, I see a message indicating “Last connection failed!” - but you’d never know this until you go to that setting. The app should let you know at some point if the connection has failed. I keep having to re-sign in to my Google account. Sync appears to be completely broken at the moment.

Another issue (possibly related to this one): when it does re-sync after logging in, many items get duplicated, resulting in a huge mess. Looking for another solution...

  • Links everything

Love this app! I can add a task as I think of it on my phone and it is there next to my gmails when I get round to doing my work! A teacher must!
  • Lots of things that don’t work

I used to have problems syncing between my iPad and my iPhone and the only solution was to remove it from my iPad. I’m now only using it on my iPhone and I set up a Recurring task as I have previously, it started to alarm at different times so I double checked and triple checked all the setting and it was set as I wanted it. Instead of getting a reminder ever 3 weeks it was reminding me every week. I got so fed up I deleted it and set it up as new and it continued to remind me at incorrect times. I deleted the task completely and didn’t set it up again so I’m now getting daily reminders for a task that doesn’t exist anywhere. I’ve decided my final option is to remove this annoying app !!!!
