  • BEST Task App & AMAZING PRIVACY POLICY

If I could only have one app this would be it!!!!
I have used this app for 6 years and to this day it’s still my favorite. Being a productivity snob no other app has come close to its perks in reoccurring tasks, google sync, and privacy. Most apps now days collect so much data. I love that I can count on this app and it’s producer to respect privacy while giving so much value in features!! Thanks for providing us this product with no strings attached to our data, you rock!!

    ✨As for top features:
    -Sub-tasks for project management
-Reoccurring task great for bill pay & other chores
-Sort by priority, due date, day, or see everything
-Create as many task lists as you please
-Can have due dates, reminders, location alerts and notes in each task
-Link to google calendar to see events
    (they show as tasks)
-Have as many google accounts attached as you need so you can toggle from personal to work keeping tasks separate, organized, and streamlined in the same app.
-Have on all devices watch, phone, tablet, and computer as the app or work straight through google.
-They only keep making it better as I’ve experienced over the years definitely an app to invest in for the long game.

    Down side:
-Apple Watch App is hard to use and bugs out at times however I have now doubts it will get resolved & improved.

  • My review

Love this app, easy to use , it has many features , it’s just what I was looking for.
  • Duplicate notifications

I would love this app, except for when you silence a notification pop up, this notification tends to repeat itself and duplicate once you go to open the actual app itself. Very annoying to have the same notification repeat itself several times. This error started to occur when iOS released the feature of drop-down notifications several months ago, and the author never thought of a way to mitigate this duplication error.

  • I'm happy.

This works great for my needs. I was using another very popular task management app until I got an Apple Watch and discovered the app doesn't work on the watch. I proceeded to try several other apps, one of which wasn't intuitive at all, one of them didn't offer manual re-ordering of tasks (wth?), and many that required a subscription (I don't mind paying up front, but I need another subscription like I need my car to be firebombed.). This one checks all the boxes for me: straightforward and simple but robust enough, calendar integration, the right task-repeating features, and of course Apple Watch integration. All I want now is a complication and it will be perfect.

  • Use it for everything!

Love this app...love that it syncs as well. I use it for numerous lists and categories to keep me organized rather than having a notebook of todo’s. I even have a category for saved passwords so I have all my passwords in one place. Love that you can just see what’s due in a day, week etc. Perfect app for exactly what I need it for.

  • The best tasks app w/ Google calendar-tasks!

Continue to love this app! Especially after resolving syncing issues (that after months I figured out an option that worked in my situation) which was by deleting the account in the gTasks and adding it again (rather than trying to re-logging in). It now works perfectly again with my Google calendar tasks. I did have to delete duplicate tasks when things re-synced.
On a side/2nd note, I had multiple lists and discovered that only one list that would properly sync with Google calendar tasks when created on Google (not gTasks). I renamed the list on gTasks to G-Cal, then painstakingly went into each task in the app and changed the List option to G-Cal. Then on Google calendar they would appear on the side tasks list.
Weird thing was that after a while my other lists showed up. But I wanted to have tasks created in Google calendar to go into and sync with the main list I was using on gTasks rather than have to switch from lists. Don’t know if that 2nd part made sense, but hope this helps those who are having syncing issues.

  • Do u love a list? Do u have lists of lists?

Omg! Finding this app has been a game changer! I always have lists of lists! Now I have gTasks, thoughts come into my head and I just add them to my list! Set a date and time if I wish and bam! It’s done! I use the notes section of the list to tell me what I need to do when the alert goes off including any links I need to log in to! It has changed my life!

  • Google task Sync partially fixed

It pains me to give a less than a 5-star review since I’ve been using gTasks seamlessly for years and historically it’s been the best integration with both google tasks and calendar.

But the two way sync with Google tasks has been broken and although an update two days ago says the issue is fixed, it is not fully fixed. I suspect this may be as much a Google problem as a GTasks problem. When I add a repeating task from gTasks it shows up on the task list in Google but not on the calendar.

When I move the date of a task in the Google calendar, it shows as original date in GTasks.

When I clear a repeating task in Google it doesn’t show up in the task list or GTasks until the repeat date.

When I create a task in Google and mark it complete in GTasks it clears in GTasks but shows as incomplete in Google.

I’ve been trying replacement apps for days but can’t find one that works the way GTasks used to. Please fix this or work with Google to restore functionality!

  • Organizing force

GTasks provides enough sub lists to stay organized without so many options that there is a learning curve. It is intuitive and fast to enter a quick thought or organize your lists of infilled things to do at the end of a week ( or several weeks, if procrastination is your thing like me). A great app!

  • Finally a easy and great ToDo list app

I kid you not I have been searching for over two years for a ToDo list app. This one is incredible. The sub-task ability makes my life so much easy to plan what I need to do. I made a Header “Calls to Make” and then I list all with whom I need to call as “sub tasks” - reminder system great. And what is terrific also is I can suppress “completed tasks” easily. And should I wish to see them, it’s just one click and there they are.

Use this app if you want to take control of personal things, business items, and then other Must Dos.
