  • Good app

    This is perfect for beginners like me. The exercises push me but not so much that I get frustrated. Update 9/6: I just purchased the premium packages. They are great! So much variety! However, there are so many that I forget which one I'm working on. Can you make it so we can have some as favorites or move them to the top?

  • Great app!

    Love the app and the exercises provided... I had no idea where to start (it's been so long). This app lets you pick your level, based on a simple test, and then bases the exercise level on that choice. Also love the fact that there are instructional videos for each exercise. Keep up the great work and excellent , again great to have as it's been too long.

  • Great value workouts

    I've been using one of the other Bodyweight training apps with the in built 'coach'. However, I found the coach didn't really listen to me so was losing motivation to train and was paying for the privilege. I'm 55, busy single dad who just wants to maintain a good level of fitness, not become an athlete that puts training over everything else (as that other app seemed to assume). There's more to life, right?

    I've done my first workout with Gorilla and was really satisfied. No hoo ha, just good, solid exercises. The videos are great, a regular guy using a regular tone to give clear explanations. No motivational music, no super fit athlete doing the exercise faster than I could ever hope to.

    Looking ahead in the workout schedule I can see a straight forward progression that I can do at my own pace. Suits me perfectly.

  • So much fun

    For someone who hasn't done much proper exercise in a long time I've found this app most helpful in starting again. The video tutorials are great and the exercises are explained well. The daily routines are difficult without being over strenuous and without the need for buying expensive equipment. A lot of fun and a lot of goodness.

  • Use consistently

    I've tried a number of paid and free apps. This is the only one i use consistently. Well paced development of exercises and exertion.
  • Definitely worth it

    This is a great workout app and I'd recommend it to anyone. It has specific workouts which cater to which ever area/muscle group you want to work on. It's great for training where your goal is to tone up using body weight/circuit training style exercises. Comes with descriptions of the workouts and even instructional videos on how to do the specific exercises. The workouts aren't time intensive which makes it much easier to fit into a busy schedule, great for breaking up your routine and for people of all fitness levels.

  • "No equipment"?

    I'm enjoying these workouts, which are presented in an easy-to-understand format, with clear instructions. However, the claim that no equipment is required is false. I don't have a pull-up bar, or a box strong enough to do box jumps on. I'm wary of what else might be required later on.
    The other reservation I have is with the assumption that upper body strength matches or exceeds lower body strength, which is usually only true of men. I'm female, and am finding the upper body exercises much more difficult, even impossible, compared to lower body exercises of the same level. On the whole, a great app which I hope will be built upon further.
