What happened to the previous version?
I downloaded the app to help me diagnose my own tendencies when putting. Tried it a couple times and found it to be very enlightening. Now that you’ve made this update, it is now useless to me. Thanks for nothing!Djmobly

Terrible 2.0 update
This update stinks. It’s asking me for my fitters account and email constantly.
I don’t have one. So stop it. I enjoyed practicing putting with this app before and now it is unusable.

Why did you guys destroy the old app so none of us PING putting people can’t use it. I didn’t load it for that reason that was a pretty lousy thing to do. You could have kept both versions, you just lost me as a club buyer absolute disgrace and stupid.Muggsym
The April´19 update makes the disappointment complete
I had used the watch app for playing and to score countless rounds and then reviewed the scorecards and stats on the iphone afterwards.
Standing on the Teebox yesterday I wanted to start the app on the watch: gone.
Checked the ping app on the iphone and got a little info screen telling that Ping removed the ‚golf workout’ feature and that subscribers should ask iTunes for refund.
WITHOUT ANY HEADS-UP they just pulled a major functionality of the app and leaving the user no options to export the data.
How careless and thoughtless is that?!
Ping never put much love into the app in the first place: hardly any updates in the last 3 years. The recent pull-back now is the full revelation of how little ping is attached to the application and its (paying) customers.
I understand there may be reasons to get out of some services - but the HOW you go through this with your customers makes all the difference.Show lessJupp66

Would be nice to see a baseline swing tempo to better understand if my swing is good or bad. Would also be cool to see how my swing tempo compares to others of my age/size/skill level or pro players.Johnpapa.ca
Don’t bother...
All I wanted was something to give credit towards closing my ‘rings’ on Apple Watch when I spend time swinging at the driving range. According to the app itself this is one of the two features available without paying the extortionate in-app fee.
No - doesn’t work. Despite numerous restarts of both Apple Watch and iPhone both the watch and phone app are in an endless loop trying to force me to pay to upgrade!
