  • Outstanding product

I use this application and hardware routinely to verify Wi-Fi performance. There is simply no better way that I have found to do this. I can see all of the Wi-Fi routers and I can also see all of my neighbors and even local businesses that are nearly 5 blocks away. This app will give you a very good idea of what Wi-Fi bands are being used and it will therefore help you improve your Wi-Fi performance

  • An excellent tool

An excellent tool for diagnosing wifi and analog 2.4GHz signals. Hopefully they will make a 5.8 GHz version.
  • Has potential.

Needs to include 5Ghz frequency. I like the graphics, gives a quick overall picture.
  • Wispy software and hardware

After purchasing the hardware on the apple website for £150 as i need it urgently for a job survey as my usual product wi-spy was being used else where , i found this product perfect and worth ever penny i paid for it as my wi-spy cost the company near on £2000.
Hands down the wi-spy is more superior to this product but this item done the job i needed ...
Please be aware you have to purchase the hardware for this app to work other wise its just a demo visual app.

User friendly , extremely easy to set up , plug and play :)

  • Does the job

I was having issues with my home wifi network. The problems were new and intermittent, and I thought they might be caused by interference from other devices. The networking engineers at work recommended WiPry +the $200 antenna if I really wanted to know what was going on. Since we were not able to use a bunch of devices that in aggregate cost way more than $200 I took the plunge. In short order I was able to see how crowded the spectrum in our house was and rule out things that I thought were interfering. Bottom line is that there were a bunch of things going on that this tool made visible. Previously I has spent a couple of hours walking around the house with my laptop with some wifi tools trying to figure it out with little luck. If you are having home wifi issues and are not technically inclined you are probably better paying someone to come in and do the work for you. If you like figuring stuff out then this a great tool.

  • Good, but app crashes

Overall good product, but a bit slow and crashes every ten minutes or so
  • So far, an expensive spectrum analyzer for $200

Just got this guy and still learning how to use it. But so far seems like a little gem of a device. I'm going to use it to validate Zigbee networks for Control4, and wifi deployments. High hopes here.
  • Doesn't work

If you look carefully, the background says it is just a demo. It doesn't do anything. But there there seems no way to make it do anything. Very unintuitive/unhelpful UI. Giving up.
  • Good app

Could be a little better, but not a big deal. Thanks
  • No idea what's going on

Labels make no sense and tooltip a don't extend out so you can actually select them.
