Nothing works
I expected the app to work better than online but neither option works. I guess it is better to depend on friends than this. This app takes forever to load, doesn’t load the smart traveler section, doesn’t load my phone number for the country where I am and basically nothing else works too. I know better by just going on international news.

I just installed the app and I can see that the latest update to warning traveling to Honduras was on 2023 that was a year ago, Gracias a Dios Departamento was too dangerous now a year later the entire country is unsafe

System keeps throwing me back into sign in screen
I was able to enter about half of my itinerary but had to sign in over ten times as system would send me back to log in screen. System finally gave me an error page and wouldn’t let me add remaining information. STEP program not very helpful if the state dept doesn’t know my itinerary or contact information. I had also tried using webpage separate from the app but had the same problem. I don’t see any way to contact them for support.

Keeps logging off after logging in if I try to use it
Keeps logging me off after been logged in if I try to use it, or edit any already entered information. It happens either in the app or directly on the website.
Sign in before every action!
This app is flakey. It used to work, but now, every time I do anything in the app, it makes me sign in again. Click add, sign in. Click a country, sign in. Click Profile, sign in. And once you fill stuff out, it wants you to sign in again, and it doesn’t appear to save anything you do. I tried adding a trip and modifying my passport, and neither updated.

User friendly
Quick and easy, even to edit change of plans for a new hotel.
Permanently locked out
I created an account about seven years ago and forgot I had done so. When I click on forget password, it asked me to enter my email address and birthdate I do so and then I get a message that email address and birthdate doesn’t match, create a new account. When I try to create a new account, it doesn’t allow me because it says that email address is already being used. I’m not going to create another email address just for this so I am permanently locked out.

Excellent App missing one important feature
I love the app so much as it provides all the information that you need while providing a sense of security. The only feature I would love to see is to include the US embassy contact information at the destination. In addition, a 24/7 emergency chat/contact service would be fantastic.
