  • Great bank, terrible update

    The old app was 1000x better. I’ve had to delete and reinstall this four times already. Shouldn’t be such a hassle. This isn’t new technology. UniBank is a great bank and I’ve been very happy with them, but this app is terrible. My 1-star review is for the app ONLY. My experience with them has easily been 5-stars. Maybe they will update the update (hopefully soon).

  • Mobile deposit

    I recently opened an account with UniBank. Their customer service is amazing. I downloaded this app in hopes to be able to deposit my paychecks. On the home screen of my app there is no “mobile deposit” or “manage my money” button. I called the service rep and she said that I may have to wait 30 days to be able to use the mobile deposit feature. I found this incredible annoying, frustrating, and confusing. I opened my account, checking and savings, and signed up for mobile banking. Why should I have to wait 30 days to use the features that I specifically opened an account for?

You should now be able to deposit checks in the app. The 30 day delay is related to preventing fraud, as scammers will often try to deposit fake checks to new accounts. We hope you noticed the new "Manage My Cards" feature that allows you to block your card, set limits, and more. We'd love to see you raise your rating as you use the app more!   • Bad Update

    I wish I never updated the app. Face ID is no longer an option when logging into the app. So now i need to enter my login info every time I want to check my account. I wish I could downgrade to the previous app.

    Update, I was given instructions on how to enroll in the fingerprint/faceid feature. I enrolled but it doesn’t use Face ID. It just allows you to open the app without a password. I put my phone on the desk not facing me at all, opened the app, and it logged right in without any recognition. I mean it’s better than typing in my password every time but it’s not very secure. Hopefully I don’t leave my phone around unlocked.

    Hi MoraisJR - Glad to here that you were able to enable Face ID. We've tested it here on multiple devices and found that the Face ID authentication does not allow access to the app without the face being scanned.   • I hate your new update

    The old app was a lot better, cleaner looking, faster, gave me little to no issues. Your new app only gives me problems.
  • Touch ID

    Since the latest update I have unable to use Touch ID. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and followed the instructions without luck.
    It finally works like a charm. I love the new app.
  • New update

    Before the update the app actually was good now it’s like we’ve gone back to 2005. Come on people it’s called and update not degrade fix this. I use mobile banking more than anything and if this keeps being like this I’ll change banks for the ease.
  • New update is no improvement

    New update - screen shakes. Can’t do Face ID. Can’t put my accounts in order of use - I called - they said they don’t have that capability. I have nine accounts, but only use one on the app. And it doesn’t show up on top. It’s impossible to jump from one task to another. This update STINKS.

  • New app from 03/2020 is awful

    The old app wasn’t great, but the new app is almost unusable on my iPhone 8.
  • I wish I hadn’t updated

    The version before this brought my straight to my accounts and I could easily scroll through (full screen) and see my transactions, and now the app is extremely unintuitive and while it provides more possibilities it is extremely slow. The menu button on top should be on the other side of the screen and the messages button is kind of useless.

It gives another view that you might prefer. And we have the new "Manage My Cards" function that lets you block your debit card, set limits and more. Thanks again!   • A step backwards...

    The previous version was near-perfect.. this “update” feels like a serious step backwards. The titles are clunky and feel like an app from 2005. Also, it’s not even optimized for iPhone 11... the blacks bars just makes this app look very unprofessional. Hopefully this gets further updates, because right now it looks and feels half-baked.
