Awesome!
One of the things that makes or breaks an app is being able to get a response when there's a problem (customer service). No company is without problems so it's not the problems that kill an enterprise but how they treat the consumer. In every situation gettaxi took care of my concern and responded with courtesy, respect and in a reasonable response time. I can only speak of Jerusalem but if it can with here then it can certainly work anywhere. Even the drivers expound their pleasure with working with the company. This app has no ability to order a higher-end taxi vs a cheaper variant - you may get a Mercedes and may get a garbage bin on wheels.
Support is pretty bad to say the least and there's no Apple Pay. The company stores credit card information on their servers (how safely our data is stored can only be guessed at)...
I gave them 3 stars because they were amazing once upon a time and deserve credit for their history, but the fact is that the app today barely deserves a single star.Show lessDeveloper Response

Terrible app. I live in Israel and have used the Gett app a lot. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it. Too often I was refused a ride because I had luggage yet I was still charged a cancellation fee. Yes, the drivers will refuse to give you a ride and you will still be charged. Sometimes it took 5 such cancellations before I could get a ride. Gett will not refund you.
The last drop was when I got charged double the normal rate to go home from the airport. The driver turned off the meter and just entered his own made up price into the system which was double of what I usually pay. I tried to resolve this with Gett a day later. Gett’s customer service is non existent. They keep asking me to provide information that they already have in the system such as the invoice and after several weeks of back and forth they said they are not responsible for the driver’s behavior and that I can complain with the Ministry of Transport.
Fortunately there are other providers such as Yango. I do not recommend Gett. As a customer you have no recourse with them.Show lessDeveloper Response
