Needs updated
I got a pop up notification that this app is slowing down my phone and the developer needs to update it. Also, the thresholds are not very intuitive. They need a better explanation of what they accomplish. I get so many notifications hat there is motion in the room and nothing is in the room to move. It was corrupt once with weird characters in a notification but reset it a few times and that seemed to fix it.Show lessCfdttseedssssa
Mostly does the job
Don't count on this as your only monitor if you can't hear the baby without it. It has a bad habit of dropping even when it's connection and the phone's connection are both good. It has no alert when this happens. The other alerts seem flaky at best.
It does allow you to look in on the little one, and my toddler loves the lights and music it produces. We use it daily.
With the iOS 10.1 update, I'm seeing warnings that this app needs to be updated or it will slow down my phone. It clearly hasn't been updated even for screen size in a long time. Seems to be abandonware at this point. It's a shame a company still producing products in this area would abandon one like this.Show lessOdellios
Terrible!
The lousiest app ever put on the App Store and the most horrible monitor from a company that offers zero technical support. Could have great but the product itself and all the info it provides is completely unreliable. Tons of false readings and false messages from the app. Withings you are useless!Show lessmoodytunes6969
works very well
I had mixed success with previous versions of this app. But I've been using it to monitor my new born baby for months now and it is fantastic. I had hoped that the withings home would have been a better device, and it is, just not a better baby monitor. I especially like that I can move the device to a new room when needed and it will continue to operate on the built in battery.Show lessnoahpeters
Reconnects over and over and over… generally unreliable
I have this baby monitor, but cannot really recommend it to anyone. It's connection is so unreliable. I have the monitor connected via ethernet and am in the room with my wireless router and get continuous connect/disconnections. Each of these via a push message making me look to see if something is wrong.
Additionally, if you play the white noise, all you really hear is white noise coming through the speakers. It would be great if they could filter out the white noise so all you'd have to listen for is the sounds from your baby.
Also, it often resets the pinched/zoomed location back to the top and mostly zoomed out. Very frustrating.

Not impressed
For the cost of this monitor there absolutely needs to be more attention given to its app development. No updates for almost 2 years (March 31, 2014).
I reached out to Withings and asked them about the app and they confessed that they have no current plans to update the app...
My biggest issue is connectivity problems. The inconsistency is annoying to deal with, having to restart and reset the camera to rectify.
Another issue for me
Is the lack of manual control over the features of this camera. For instance: brightness, contrast, night vision on/off, audio mute, audio AirPlay to Bluetooth device.
There are times where the camera will fluctuate between Night Vision and normal operation in situations where night vision is obviously necessary.
Another issue I've encountered is with the notification thresholds. I'm constantly notified for temperature changes that aren't actually happening and are reporting within the range I've specified. Have had to disable temperature notifications.
The camera/video quality is just OK, I've had better quality and functionality from other, much cheaper, WiFi cameras. I bought Withings' camera because I wanted to avert routing my video stream through China, as some manufacturers do, and go a more trusted route.
I'll contact support about these issues, but I think it's only honest that you know these things are happening before you spend a bunch of time and money.Show lessTekuGai
Not perfect
Turning it off and on in the middle of the night causes the lights to flash on and off like a strobe lite.
It requires an always on internet connection.
If your internet goes out for a few minutes and comes back on it will not automatically reconnect.
There is no noise cancellation. There is a sound graph over time but the devices own wave sounds keep the line maxed out.
Notifications for sound alerts didn't work for me it sent the notification often when there was no sound and not when I could hear crying.Show lessFreeParking

Quite simply... We love this baby monitor. It always works well and was easy to setup. We had 1 monitor for the first child and liked it so much we got a second monitor when our second child came along. Thank you for making a great app and product.hollowayfamily255
Terrible customer support
Our monitor worked nearly flawlessly for 2 years then the lithium ion battery bulged and became useless which caused the monitor to malfunction. The ONLY tech support Withings has is via email with a 24 hour delay (at best) in their communication response. I had to pay $120 to Netgear for an extended router warranty and then the Netgear telephone support tech got my baby monitor problem solved over the course of an hour.Show lessCasa de Contreras 530
#1 in my book
I really don't get the reviews. I read them over prior to my Withings camera purchase, and did further research, then decide to get it anyway. And I have not one complaint. It works in the house. Outside the house and everywhere in between. It does chip out for a second here or there but I chalk that to the fact that u have it over a wifi network. If I plug the Ethernet cable in, I suspect it'd be flawless. I love it. The wife adores it. She's not even a "techie" and she gives it a 10 out of 10.Show lessRybacs
