Needs some work
We have had our Withings baby monitor for just over 1.5 years now. For the most part, we love it. It does get a little glitchy at times and needs to be rebooted. I'm sure this would happen with any monitor like this though. One thing that we would really love to see, is an update allowing use on the new apple watch. My husband and I have talked many people into purchasing this baby monitor and the desire to access the app on the watch is a common topic of conversation amongst our friends.Show lessChiphead
Works as advertised!
I have had this camera and have been using this app for at least 6 months. I have never had any of the issues that other reviewers have had, and have even used it when I am out of the country (both from the web interface and the iPhone/iPad apps) without an issue.
I have recently gotten the apple watch, and I hope that there will be an update to the app giving it apple watch support as they have with the within go home camera.

Barely a monitor
I've never had a clear image like the app shows. You can't zoom in without it being grainy. At night time all I can see is the crib and the glow from baby eyes - not clear at all. Also, the notifications are impossible to shut off, we've tried everything and they continue to alert you even after you've exited out and shut off the alerts. Poor crappy app
Wow just wow for the amount of money we paid out for the monitor this app is terrible. Its getting worse and worse most times i give up trying to get it to connect and just risk going and checking on baby in person (which is most deff not ideal).

Too many issues...
I will update my rating and review when Withings fixes the major issues with their monitor/app.
- the monitor (hardware) seems great and probably rarely has any issues that are not associated to the software.
- the app barely gets by, but at the end of the day is awful.
- I still have some hope, if Withings does some stuff correctly it would definitely be the best product on the market.
Problems:
- sending wifi settings to monitor rarely works properly. I either have to use bluetooth, or Ethernet.
- you hear the audio from the monitor on your phone permanently. Doesn't matter if the mute switch is on/off. There is no way to turn it off. Only thing is to turn down phone volume. very bad design.
- you cannot view the camera without having monitoring notifications enabled (unless you manually disable each one)
- view/zoom starts more zoomed in that you would like.
- you cannot hide the controls from the camera view.
- there is no decent way to view a chart/graph of the monitoring data. No export. No webview.
- as long as the monitor has power, apparently there is no way to fully turn it off?
- no option to play your own music through the monitor, or upload a song to the monitor.
- the app interface is fairly fluid, but there are some minor adjustments that could make it easier to navigate/use.Show lesscbkproductions
We love this monitor, no problems...
Wow, I'm stunned to read some of the poor reviews. We've had a few (less than 10) times that monitoring was disconnected in 18 months. The alerts got to be a little incessant until we figured out that we can edit/control the threshold sensitivity that generates an alert. You can ask it to alert you if there is low volume noise that lasts for 30 secs....or loud noise for 15 secs, or the humidity gets low...
You can change the music & its volume, or the nightlight and its brightness and color...or speak to your baby. The girls that help us with our kids all use it right from their cell phones and we can restrict their access when they are not here. Although it's not designed for this purpose, we have 1 grandparent that lives 800 miles away and we can tell her when we have all 3 playing in the baby's room and she can get a live glimpse at them if she just wants to see them.Show lessNashDDS
Connectivity Error... Don't buy it
cannot access the baby monitor feed from outside the home Wi-Fi network, I keep getting this message ( Connection error: Unable to retrieve Smart Baby Monitor connection information ). I checked my firewall and its set to low and i contacted my internet provider and he checked the router and no problem found with my router. Can't connect anymore
This setup is great when it works, but all of my devices suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago. Sometimes works if the app is relaunched, but not always. Used to be much better. They need some better quality control in their software.Quevar
Can't kill it
I love the device but hate the app. I can turn off monitoring, but it turns itself back on - oddly enough even if I kill the app and even if I reboot my iPhone 6 running the latest release. This is incredibly annoying and very disappointing. The setup was also non-intuitive, but I hope that's been fixed.Show lessCal_Lightening
Horrible!!!! Don't buy
This monitor disconnects all the time. You won't realize you have not been monitoring your child until you wake up and realize you've been disconnected for god knows how long. The alerts are annoying and constant. My child gets up and comes to my room before I even get an alert! Horrible!!!!! You are better off with a well known brand and not having to rely on your wi-fi either. This monitor is horrible.Show lessRevwyrstff
