Super to get bus connection info
Very handy app I use it every day. The only drawback is that bus time info is not updated real time . So if a bus missed a trip or delays, the app does not give that updateRsondhi
Absolutely invaluable!
I've used this app so far in Tokyo, London and Dublin and have found it to be brilliant. Tells me precise locations, what number bus, tram or train I need, where to get them, as well as providing accurate directions for walking. Way better than Google Maps. Only complaint is it's hard to shut down, and often remains open on my iPhone, which is annoying snd used up data. Any tis on this would be appreciated.Show lessNB me
Absolute life saver
We just used this app for our trip to Philly and New York. Saved us money and time! Love this app! Thank you Citymapper! Tells you what trains at what time. What is faster walking, train, taxi or Uber. User friendly. Highly recommend!Jay-Cam

Got me around Seoul when Google Maps could not. It’s my go to if it supports whatever city I’m in, which so far has been all of them.jclarke0000
Landmarks are never shown, making it a very poor substitute for Google maps
Tourists will NOT like this Citymapper at all. Unlike Google Maps, it has no information about the immediate surroundings of your destination. For example, going to Westminster in London, UK, there are only a bunch of nameless buildings where the Abbey or Big Ben would be found. So there is no way to plan a trip properly based on nearby attractions.
For people who just want strictly commuting information, this is ok. There is no way to center the mapnto your current location during a planned commute. Everything is controlled by the app, without any choices. I also don't think that scheduled public transit is anything special on City mapper. Google also shows all details of the next scheduled buses, trains, trams and subways.
City mapper is a lot of hot air without any substance. I used it for about 8 days in two different UK cities and I will go back to Google.Show lessFlightsimmer2004

I’ve been using CityMapper for so many years I can’t remember how long now and I’ve always loved it. But in the past few days it just freezes on me or allows me to search and then when I click on a suggested travel option the next screen it goes to has a blank map and the info area below is also blanked out. Then it freezes on that screen and won’t let me even go back…. Really frustrating after finding this such a super-reliable app in the past. They’re is no connectivity issue as other apps are working perfectly well. I’ve tried closing it down and then switching my phone on and off but still the same issue. I’ve just deleted it from my phone…. Will download again to see if that helps but I’ve obviously now lost all the data and journey history. Disappointed.Show lessKathrineHarvey

We have used this app in the UK, all over Europe and in Toronto and Vancouver. It’s our family go to app for moving around the city with ease. Never leave home without it !Mybluegirl

Suggestion for an enhancement!
I love Citymapper and have been using ever since it came out. Although there are some bugs now and then making the app crash or freeze or not load the correct train cancellation updates, it’s minor compared to the overall performance of the app.
I did have a thought of what would be even better, super useful and just a great feature to have, is the widget for the phone screen saver, to display any train cancellations. A little reminder to check in the morning before the morning commute… especially in the big city like London and for those of us who are still working in the office full time, would be an absolute saver in making the commute more efficient and less stressful days ahead.
I hope it will “tickle” someone’s brains on the other side and if not, I’m sure something else good will come out of this.
