Terrible app
This app is terrible, it constantly forgets my login and password. About every other week it acts like it doesn’t know who I am and it’s extremely slow, it doesn’t give real time bank information I can be over drawn for a day and not know it. Very displeased with this app!Rufus willie

Worst bank and app ever
One would think that a financial institution would have a higher quality app.
After requesting to use the app, requesting each individual account to be viewable and requesting access to the account NUMEROUS times I can finally see my accounts.
Don’t bother trying to deposit a check through the mobile app. A check was denied because I didn’t write “mobile deposit” on the back. I would think the fact that I was using the app would be sufficient proof of that.
If it wasn’t for my mortgage being at this bank, I would switch all my accounts to another bank, everything about this bank is a hassle.Show lessJessiColten
If it’s not broke, why fix it ?
I’ve been with southern bank for 7+ years now. I’ve almost never had issues with the old app. This new app is such a pain to login into. Had to call and re-set up an online account. Finally got my login credentials and the security codes didn’t come until 5/6 mins later. The online banking works but such an inconvenience. I’m just baffled on why the new app ? I’m seriously considering switching banks.Show lessAngry Barrrett

SouthernBank does a great job of after hours banking. I just did my first mobile deposit from my home. This will save me several trips to the bank lobby. The drive up bank is great if you need more assistance. Going to the lobby also works well.

Trouble logging in
The app has been great until the last few weeks. It will not log in. It’ll take my credentials and then the app will crash. Please correct and I’ll adjust my rating! :)CMH8987
