“Extra comfort” ride option is a scam. English support is poor in ap

For my first ride from airport to hotel, the ride didn’t come for 25 minutes. The driver stopped driving from what I can see on app. I had to cancel the drive. The app or the driver wouldn’t do that. I took uber then.
I have some luggage in some rides. I ordered “extra comfort” options for rides with luggage hoping for more spacious car. It’s exactly same ford mundeo black cars that I had with all the regular rides. I took 4 regular rides and 2 extra comfort. Extra comfort is 35-40% extra for no reasons. That option shouldn’t exist.

On the top, the “extra comfort” driver added more then a euro for time to set up luggage which we carried on lap. We all were there waiting for her at the exact spot. So it was more luggage loading time. I am not sure if that’s normal.

I bet the company can’t give a single definitive difference between regular or extra comfort ride for 40% upcharge.

The app may look fine for English language users for first 2-3 prompts but it’s but for anything more then ordering ride. If you want to chat to customer support, the options are in Spanish only. So you have to take picture, use google translate. Same thing with driver chat. You can’t just copy the words to check the translation, as that option doesn’t exist. So again take picture every time driver says something on chat to translate.

Great option for Latin America

I recently tried out Cabify for the first time on my trip to South America. The app can be a little confusing if you’re not used to it, but it otherwise works very well. In particular, I found it difficult to review reservations I had made in advance, and I inadvertently ended up missing my ride because I wasn’t sure if I’d actually reserved it earlier or not. Cabify charged me a small no-show fee, but immediately refunded it when I explained the situation. Great job Cabify 👍 and thanks 🙏

Horrible customer service

They charged me twice for a cancelled ride that never even showed up in the first place before cancellation. For the past 3 months, I’ve communicated with different customer service reps and none were of help in giving me back my refund. I will never download or use this application again.

Thiefs and scammers

They use the app to trick you into buying vouchers for moped/car share access ( that you cant even use! and expire after a year)
ive been scammed out of 50euro , and they say theres nothing they can do. The worst cab service ever , the one time i did use them they charged me double (another scam) because their gps system sent their driver to the wrong location and we were both waiting 10min for each other. STAY AWAYY , I will also be pursuing legal action so this does not happen to anyone else.

Awful service in barcelona

Years after first review still rubbish. Does not work with Apple pay!! Honestly it is just so useless it’s unbelievable

Just rubbish Pre booked taxis are not pre booked. They start looking for a driver 15 minutes before pick up and then they can’t find so you cannot rely on service. Instant bookings. App says, “will be with you I. 6 minutes,” then spends 5 minutes searching and when found will be with you in 18 minutes. Waste of time. And it’s not even cheap, about 10% less than a normal taxi. Customer service always fob you off with a generic response. Used to be good but I’ve given up with it. Best avoided.

Just avoid

Cab wasn’t where the app said it was. Despite the app being completely in English up till this point, suddenly not only are all the Spanish messages untranslated, but you can’t even copy them into a translation app. Had to type from memory. Still found it after 10 minutes, but driver said it was too late and had cancelled. Complaining to the app got us a five euro refund but we’re still stuck 40 minutes drive from home after midnight with no way of getting home. Just avoid this appalling service and use Uber

Customer service corrected issue-after several days and multiple emails

I tried the service in Barcelona. I provided my address plus the addresses of three storefronts next door to the app and to the driver. He went to wrong location despite multiple (identical) locations and charged me for waiting time for HIS mistake! The app responds with repeated messages only in Spanish despite my emails that I don’t understand or read Spanish There are multiple other cab apps in Barcelona

Terrible Customer Service

Downloaded the app. Added my CC. Cabify verified my CC by sending a small transaction. Tiered to use it. Got blocked. Completely useless customer service unable to tell me why I got blocked or how to resolve it.

Irritating

Apparently they haven’t worked out that 1 million people visit Spain every year and can’t figure out how to send verification codes to non-Spanish whatsapp numbers 🤦‍♀️
