  • Good app

This is a good app that they have improved over time. I recently discovered Stage Mode that is very helpful to me as I use the app on stage for our worship band. This app provides the click track for every song we do. It is easy to put each track together and sequence them. However, there are a few features that it doesn't have that would help us a lot. I need to be able to transfer tracks (or my entire list) to another device. I could switch between my iPhone and iPad if they were portable. Or I could transfer them to the band. The guitar players like to setup their delays according to the BPM of the song. The second feature that would help is to be able to set up set lists. I could preset them and just load the one I need for a particular day.

  • Tighter Playing

The choice of non annoying sounds and the large display of quarter note beats etc. are my favorite things. Having an accented light on the first and other selectable beats helps as I gradually decrease the volume in order to rely less upon audio cues. I often drop beats and begin playing out of sync so having the full screen feature helps with a visual cue. The large display, ample volume, aesthetic sounds and pendulum feature are what make this my favorite metronome.

  • Just a great idea for you.

I love this app. I haven't even touched upon all its features yet but I was curious to use it with my iwatch and hoped that it had this one feature in mind. Rather than simply being a remote control for the phone app, could the app integrate to the use of the vibration and pulse notification feature that the watch has? This could allow the wearer to feel the pulse of the tempo while in use. Sounds like a stretch but I'm sure someone out there is working on it. If not, you should. I could see this being a new and important tool in the studio or on live stage especially if you can sync between multiple devices. For studio use it would make sense if the DAW could control the start and stop function for the Iwatch wearer to stay in sinc with the recording. Good luck.
Thanks for such a great app.

  • Best Mobile Alternative to Dr. Beat

I love the different ways to keep time (visually, aurally). The programmable aspect is great too; you can get through an entire piece without having to stop and adjust the tempo with this feature. The ways you can change the tempo using the dial, typing in a number, or by tapping is excellent. The practice mode is great because it allows you to set the tempo for a certain amount of time at a percentage of the goal speed. It allows my students to structure their slow practice and to actually understand how long they've been practicing a passage at that tempo. Great app. Could write more but it would look ridiculous.

  • Must-Have for Musicians

I got this app initially to help with my practicing. Soon after, I got the pro version because I was so satisfied with the free version. The pro version is great because it allows you to set tempo markings to change after a certain amount of measures. The pro version also has a feature to help you keep the beat on your own by muting the metronome for a couple measures at a time. I cannot say enough good things about this app. Totally worth the money.

  • In-App Purchases Notification bug

I downloaded this app just recently because I wasn't satisfied with my other metronome app, and let me just say it blows it out of the water. Just one problem...

On my phone, I have In-App Purchases disabled, because most apps I go onto love to flood you with In-App Purchases, which wasn't a problem since I disabled it. ...Until now. When I boot up the app (every single time, even when multi-tasking), I always get two of the same message: "Oops! Device not authorized for In-App Purchase. You must enable it in System Settings." I didn't mind it at first, but EVERY time I refer to a song and come back, it gives me the same notice again, and again, and again, until I delete the app, actually adjust the settings (which I adjusted years ago and can't remember how to fix nor will fix), or wait until the next update. This app has a lot of potential, so I'm hoping the review to fix this bug comes out soon.
