  • Great app but some serious bugs

I love this app, it’s been so helpful to compliment my DBT sessions. But there have been so many issues with the calendar lately (even since yesterday’s update) that it really takes away from the experience. I’ve tried contacting twice now to report the issues but haven’t heard back from anyone - which is a shame because other reviews mention excellent response to feedback.

  • Comprehensive, easy to use

I’m a DBT Therapist and this is the app I recommend. It covers everything and has options to customise. It covers your daily diary card, has great, practical suggestions for skills coaching as well as info about DBT and space for your emergency contacts. You can email your Diary Card to your therapist. Love it.

  • First class

This app is incredibly easy to use. Truly awesome
  • Clunky interface, no possibility to backup

The backup to Dropbox has been broken for ages and never replaced. Developers don’t answer inquiries (I tried to reach out twice).
  • Such a good app!!

Love this app! I use it a million times a day. It’s the only diary card that I have been able to build a habit with and I love how simple it is to track progress. My only complaints are that not all of the coaching sections have a spell check (such a minor thing) and I would love more in-depth coaching for check the facts and reality acceptance.

  • Not worth it!!

Jot worth the money I would like a refund. Type is do small can't see it. Not user friendly at all
  • Dropbox support?

I love the app. Thank you. Dropbox does not seem to be working though. I want to backup on one iPhone so I can restore the data onto a different phone but it is saying it is not compatible with the new version of Dropbox and that the app needs to be updated. I did send an email to support but I have not received any response back yet.

  • So-so

This app has been more helpful than not but there are a few issues I have with it.
    Positive aspects:
    - I really like how much DBT stuff has been integrated into the app.
    - I like that the urges and emotions are customizable. Helps a lot with trying to track your own circumstances.
    Negative aspects:
    - I have yet to be able to send a report of my tracking despite having my email entered. I've tried removing it and putting back but still am unable to send. I don't want to delete the app and retry because then I lose all the data I have so far.
    - App could use some refreshing and be a little more user-friendly. As someone who has done a DBT course the skills are familiar enough to me that I know when and how to use them but for someone without prior instruction this app would not be much help. It has potential to be very helpful to anyone struggling with dysregulated thoughts and emotions.

  • Crashes constantly, navigating a bit sticky

Although the look of the app is slick, navigating it should come with more intuitive structures. Also, my app crashed every single time I opened it, even with the most current update. I won’t be recommending this to patients as it would be too frustrating.
  • Poor design

An app that cost me $7.50 should be better designed.

Ux is no where close to being streamlined. 2/3 of the space of the menu page is wasted for a logo? Leaving the actual menu way too small to navigate and the choice of titles just makes something simple really confusing and complicated.

Poor use of composition and kerning makes it really hard to visually navigate app.

Under DBT reference- again, the actually area where the description is displayed is less than 1/4 of the total screen area. Over 3/4 is taken up very large “skills”.

Downloaded this app early in the afternoon. It is now 10:30pm.

I have spent less than 10 minutes total checking it out, the UX sure doesn’t make it any easier.

I do not recommend this app, especially at this price.
