Scope of this Ap
Testing so far enjoy doing it but would like it to have the option of English vocabulary as well as the American English version
Outstanding app!
This is by far one of the best apps for crosswords that I have worked with. First of all you can change the view so that you have a keyboard. It starts out with letters on each side but if you put it in the portrait mode you find an icon for the keyboard., You do not have to download a bunch of crosswords that you will not use. It leads you to different Internet sites where you can download the difficulty of crosswords that you wish. Along with the other nice options this is a great crossword game application to get.

Great App. Very user friendly. Can fill in the day no problem.
Best crossword app I have found
I have been looking for a good crossword app since ages. I have tried many, including the much trumpeted NYTimes one. This is simply the best crossword app I have used. The layouts are great, especially the 'page' layout. On an iPad there is sufficient space to display the entire grid, the clues, toggle keys and the letter keys. You don't have to move around the grid or the clues if you don't want to! This is such a simple concept but I have never seen this anywhere yet. It is very easy to move around the clues. The automatic clue/grid traverse option is also superb. I don't see how you can better this app!

Across Lite Is The BEST๐๐๐๐
I always wanted to play crosswords, but thought they were too difficult. This app changed my mind about that. The premium version can be personalized with colored squares, you can choose the level of difficulty and there is access to so many freebies.
My only disappointment is that it takes too many extra steps to access them. Still worth it, though...๐๐๐๐๐๐

nice features
I have been using this app to do the NYT crosswords (and others) on my iPad for a couple weeks now and find it works very well, with or without a keyboard. It is easy to use and there are some nice features like the smart move button and the organization "bookshelf." I wish the app would enable the use of shift+tab to move backwards to the previous clue when using the keyboard that goes with my iPad, but that is more of a suggestion than a complaint.

I'm hooked
I am so glad I found this app, but now I am hooked on it unfortunately. It allows me to go out to the web and find endless crossword puzzles that use the Across Lite format and download them to play on my iPad.
This allows me to choose the level and style of crossword that fit my level of play.
I also like all the different options for help and for the display format.
It's really a well done app.

Good Crossword
Good app easy to use and work around. Could do with a bit more flexibility - hint we do not all live in the USA
Very good!
I like this, and I've done a number of puzzles since downloading the app.
It took me a while to find the keyboard option because I was looking at my iPad in landscape and the keyboard is only available in portrait. If you're in landscape, it appears that you have to enter letters by tapping the letters arranged on the two sides of the screen, which is awkward.
I like the convenience of online links to many puzzle sources. (I've been doing ones from the Chronicle of High Ed.)
I did a crossword that included several special clues. One square would represent an element, with the abbreviation one way and the name the other. E.g.,Na down clue was ESAU, with "Au" in one square. Across was The Mongol dynasty! With GOLD in that same square. There's no way to type that sort of thing. Maybe the app could give you a special way to mark a square that you know is not a regular letter and you could just remember that it's special. (I've seen other puzzles whe a square is supposed to essential something else -- a shape, a color, or whatever.)

Great App!
Love this app! I Have tried others but found them to be clunky. Would like to be able to access crosswords with Australian content in the Crossword Store - I'm struggling with some "Americanisms" :)
