Impossible to search for the required show either by full title or by the name of the artists involved. Finally found by time shown and tv station but show would not play (it was not faded out so should be available in my region but there was nothing to indicate what the issue was) Really need to overview the service when you consider the excellent options available on other ‘player’ optionsShow lessKC Mull

Good content - Bad experience
Invariably gets stuck on ads and programs never start
Onscreen controls don’t display to manage content - frequently have to kill the player and restart from scratch
Frequent white-outs and flashes where content disappears for several seconds during playback (when/if playback starts)
This is a poorer implementation and user experience than all the other streaming apps that I regularly use (e.g. Netflix, Prime, SKY etc.) I realise that RTE gets the license fee, but please throw a few shekels to the app developers to fix the bugs and embrace the futureShow lessWZW620

New iPad, no RTÉ Player
I bought a new iPad a couple of months ago because the old one couldn’t support all the upgrades. The new one started off ok but it’s not playing recent episodes of Fair City. It keeps replaying an episode from two weeks ago. No problem with the iPhone, though. I can watch everything from the RTÉ Player on it. Re the iPad, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times with no change. It won’t let me even go to the home page. What suggestions do you have for me ?
Update 2021. Still having problem trying to watch numerous episodes of Fair City. Sometimes I can binge watch, other times the episode reply’s the first half of the program and reverts to the episode start instead of playing the second half. Hope you can fix this problem, thank you

Worst app ever
App will close without warning. Fails to resume after a pause in a program for commercials. The previous version was far superior to this one. It’s actually hard to believe that RTÉ saw fit to release this horrible update . I recently re-downloaded the app and it will not open. All I get is a blank white screen.Show lessqxzpighm..@
