Updated app is promising
I'm changing my review from 4 stars to 2 for the last Update!
Now I’m not able to view user profile from the chat window! There is no onnk anywhere. Before user name was linked to the profile now it’s not working, making the app unusable!
Also would be helpful to have a change log for each each update description instead of copy/pasting the same text copy over and over and over again!Show lesseugm
The new features make jDate hard to use
The new features, both in the app and in the web version are not an improvement. Combining the message types make it hard to manage. I don't like random messages from people being mixed in with messages from people I'm already corresponding with. Also, it's now much harder to contact a jDate employee if I have a problem. Many other changes that are making jDate less desirable to use than the old version. BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION!Show lessCyclista55

Restrictive search lets this app doe
Passes all basic functions but browse nearby etc all could do with being expanded if not full search criteria no point wasting time with who is nearby if you only consider someone who is kosher at home and outside for example.MikhailJB
Can't bring this home to momma
Quite simply, the app doesn't function as it should. Location settings, age filters,etc. All these features don't function properly and yet they want you to pay a premium to access it.NY_Jack
What a dreadful site and terrible app!
The app itself is terrible. When you delete a message it keeps on coming back into your inbox! When you get a new message it doesn't show as new and can appear halfway down your inbox! It's also forever crashing or getting stuck!
The site itself is very misleading! I think there are only about 20 paid up members on the site! When you click on a profile, it's amazing how every person was online a moment ago!!

Auto renew
Just to make you aware the system auto renews itself without you knowing. If you sign up for one month it will keep subscribing you ongoing until you tell Jdate to cancel this! Plus other charges may be added. It's impossible to cancel as there's no facility to.
Customer services are very unhelpful.
Members are not vetted and I have been scammed by a member. He demanded money from me and his profile was not true!

The service itself isn't that good, let alone the app. Sorry, algorithms are off, even the filter parameters are off. The app is okay, but like a good actor with a bad script, there's only so much it can do.Zimage8
