Great for rural areas
I live in a very rural community and this is the only app that shows 90% of local events, down to open houses in small stores. Really, this is the best thing i have found for local events.

No matter how small a town it pulls up all kind of things in the area. I’m just not home two days a week due to working out of town so I can plan ahead for when I get home but still find things to do when I’m on the road no matter where I’m at.

Finding events in new areas
I’m a musician from Oklahona. I found myself in Ohio for a week looking for opportunities to play and this app was helpful - better than other searches. I went to open mics in Kentucky & West Virginia that were close enough and met lottsa nice folks - heard some really good players and got a few new fans ! Success! So - ya - cool !
