I set up the router first then downloaded this app. All it does is attempt to setup the router configuration again.
If you run through the whole configuration though, it will just end up back at discovering the router and running through the whole configuration again and again and again and again...Show lessOvercast86

Why is 2 stars the minimum?
I wish I'd never even gotten the router! I downloaded this app so I could personalize my password and all that stuff in the sink and app keeps telling me that I'm not connected to the Wi-Fi network. Obviously I am , or I wouldn't have been able to download it!Realtor Brandi

This app did not work. Don't waste your time. The good news is that I was able to easily configure the router using my IPhone and Safari by going to the D-Link website.Dr. Titanium

Did you get this error too? Sure. A lot of us have. If you go to D-Link's support site, a lot of people have reported it there also. Even those who have the latest firmware installed continue to have the problem. There are no answers forthcoming from D-Link. Just silence. Weak D-Link, very, very weak.Show lessSJU87

Like others have reported, this cr*p app does nothing. Will NOT detect D-Link router (DGL-5500), despite being connected. What a waste of time. So glad I came back and read other reviews to learn that, after doing factory reset, etc., it's not me or user error. Saved me time and more frustration. Smooth and easy!
Setup couldn't have been easier! Simple, 5 or 6 steps right from my phone and done. Those giving 1 star and poor reviews clearly can't follow basic instructions.
You have to leave the app and go to your phone's wifi settings to input the password for the router that came in the box. After that go back into the app and it will finish the install.Show lessPlaydan2012
