For a “company” that makes billions a year they should invest some money into this app
Crashes, constantly have to log back in, numbers don’t get posted timely. Now, the new scanner doesn’t work. If the lottery had any competition they’d be out of business. Poorly run just like any other govt “business” since they can’t get fired for doing a crappy job. Guess how many companies who make 1.5 billion dollars a year have apps that don’t work? Answer? 1. NJ Lottery!!! The other companies pay people to fix the apps or go out of business!
Also, where’s the Cash4Life and Powerball numbers after a drawing? Why does it take until next morning to see them?
I can get live updates on a Turkish women’s soccer game on a crappy sports bet app but they can’t update numbers on 1 billion dollar jackpots in a timely manner?Show lessyeah guy?
Error issues all the time
This app needs some serious TLC. Sometimes the app works perfectly but most of the time it does not and it’s very frustrating. The app sometimes closes on its own for no reason, the scanner option freezes or doesn’t scan, and once you click on a game for the info, you have to go all the way back to the home page in order to access the next game. If the freezing, not loading and closing out for no reason was addressed, this app would be a 5 star and have more options than any other NJ lottery app!Show lessTheresam439
A royal pain in the backside
Every time I use this app, I have to keep drumming my finger on what I want to click on before it finally responds. I thought maybe it was my phone but every other app on my phone has no such issues. It makes the app difficult to use at best. In a future update, can we put the menu somewhere other than way up in the very corner? I suspect that this may be part of the problem. Scanner no longer works
I’ve had this app for a while, and the scanner used to work like a charm. However, for the past year, no matter what I do delete the app reinstall it the scanner does not work. Extremely frustrating as it is the main reason I downloaded it. I cannot check tickets nor can I, enter two second chance drawings.Show lessThis app is a major fail

The recent update has made it worst and is not fit for any stars but am forced to give 1 star for submitting this review.. It does not recognize the official tickets, when scanned or manually enteeed for the Collect n Win.
If the Organization is not interested in the ‘Collect n Win’ program, they could have saved money by stopping the ads for it rather than creating a program to discourage the players.Show lessPrad09
Show scanned numbers
Since there are numerous posts about scanner issues, it would be a great feature to show the actual numbers that were scanned. I personally don’t trust this feature to work as advertised.RBW in NJ

I finally was able to enter tickets without issues then you updated the scanner yesterday and now it’s back to having issues with the scanner.
Now it take’s awhile before the scanner registers or you have to use the phone light to enter a ticket or it doesn’t register at all.hopping frogs
Scanner seems more sensitive but it does work
Thought I had a scanner issue but it turned out the tickets were the issue. The barcodes weren’t printed fully. It would have been nice if the app gave an error message instead of just hanging there…
One suggestion, let us reorder our “favorites.” The tickets are listed in the order you create them. Also, everyone complains about contacting support. WHY ISN’T THERE A REAL SUPPORT LINK in the app to report problems? We shouldn’t have to report issues in a review.Show lesssdm120
October update broke the scanner AGAIN!
Once again, your latest iPhone app update broke the scanner. It scans Cash4Life and scratchers, but none of the other draw games. And you STILL don’t have a way to report bugs to the developers. Please don’t tell me to delete and reboot. Been there, done that. After a terrible year of updates last year, the updates were pretty solid this year - until now. PLEASE FIX THE SCANNER. The auto focus on the camera to scan tickets doesn’t work on the iPhone 14 Pro and also the 3 lines at the top right of the screen doesn’t work when I click it. I have to touch below and to the right to get to the menu. Can these be fixed? Everything else is great!Millsbw
