  • All around bad stuff

Shuts off during a session. Won't open a timer most times upon opening. Need to clear most or all open apps to use. Seems like I need to open and close twice before it allows me to use a timer. iPhone 6 Plus had been around too long to be experiencing issues.
  • Sound

Your May 27th update has resulted in the app automatically lowering the sound volume (3,2,1 countdown) on my iPhone 6s Plus. I know it's the app because I turned up the volume to full repeatedly while during my workout (and using the app) only to watch the app turn the sound volume done repeatedly. Please fix. I do love your app.

  • Same problems

I'm having most of the same problems as everyone else. It's bad enough that the app wastes the battery when you have to keep the screen on but because of that it also means it's easier for the app to get paused or for it to go back or forward because a button gets pushed when inside the belt I store the phone in while I run. It also continues to run after you exit if you haven't finished all the reps you had set, even if you restart the phone. I hate it now and had been counting on it to play the various intervals I was planning on using at a race I have coming up. It's no help now.

  • Best App for interval training

I downloaded this app plus about 5 others. Deleted all other apps but this one. Easy to set timers for my 3 minutes heavy bag boxing rounds, which include 1 minute rests. I love the countdown voice and the three bells at the end of each round. Even though I downloaded for free, I paid 99¢ to get the ads removed. However, the app functions just as well with the ads. Don't waste your time on other apps - get this one.

  • Excellent Interval Timer

I've had a Gymboss gadget for years & love it, so finding this app was great. Are the ads in the free version a little annoying? Sure, but they're not so large as to interfere with workouts & since I listen to the cues instead of staring at the app, it is not a deal breaker for me. I love that I can set up my own intervals & edit them easily. Overall, a great app!

  • Slightly annoyed

I did the in app purchase to get rid of the adds but they are still there 😠 I agree with most of the reviews I saw, I like the older version better. What I like least of all is that after the timer is done a prompt shows up to post if to face book, then you have to exit out, click the timer, then click start again. With the old version once the timer was done you could click "go" again & be done. I use this mostly for rest between sets at the gym.

  • Old version is much better

The best thing about breaking my phone was that when it was replaced, I got the old version of this app back. Thank god! I use this almost everyday and I hated the new version. Not only did I lose all my programs, but it was inconvenient and clunky. I love the old version and will go as long as possible without upgrading. 5 stars for the old version, only 3 (just because I'm feeling generous) for the new version.

  • Love it - **Edited**

I Love this app. So much that I'm giving it 5 stars. Very easy to set up long, multi-cycled workouts, and I can see at a glance where I'm at in a set. I think the color bundle was worth the Buck spent on it too. I get to invert the text colors, etc, or set other schemes for, (for example) the 7th & last set of a Tabata-style exercise for a motivational factor. I took literally, 2 minutes to write / save a session consisting of:
5 rounds of Tabata workout. After each of the 5 rounds I set 30 seconds each for a Turkish Get-up left, then right, then 2 minutes "active rest". I got to running on there, but that's just 1 example of what's possible with just a short time with this tool.

  • Great App for keeping track of time intervals

I have used the original plastic GymBoss and I figured that they also had the phone app, so downloaded it and gave it a whirl.

So far, had no issues with app, it has a clean streamlined interface, easy to use timers and create them (you can remove timers by swiping timer name to left and hitting delete, fyi to some peeps), and allowing you to choose titles and select colors for intervals is great for visual checking.

Would be nice if different alarm sounds could be individually set for each separate intervals/colors to help differentiate them.

Overall, have no issues with free App and will consider buying pro upgrade to support the developers. Great job!

  • Love the app, but prefer the old version

I love this app. The timer is great, the color choices to differentiate the times, the buzzer choices and the ability to play music are all great. I do not however like the new update. I liked knowing what was completely by next. I used to put my choreography in the timers and would know what the next activity was while doing the previous activity. Now I have to wait a few seconds to read the activity or put what is coming up next on the current activity. (I hope that makes sense) Please bring back the option to see what is coming next.
