Doesn't retain data
Occasionally the app will not remember that I have decrement end my inventory by a lot. It appears intermittent, but very annoying when I am doing my shopping and don't know what I have at home.mike_in_toronto
I want my money back.
This app is a waste of money and effort. It's scanning feature which is why I purchased does not scan very much at all and even then incorrectly. Save your money. I'll be deleting this app.Tompickle593
Terrific!
I have been using this app for a short time but already like it very much! Like being able to add stores/locations; like being able to customize the units for items; adding categories is very easy as well. Terrific app, would highly recommend it to anyone looking to keep track of their food. Like that I can add notes. In my case we have two freezers and a pantry so I can use the notes section to designate which freezer, which shelf, or where in the pantry the items are.Show lessMelinda48
Save Some Serious $$$
I love this app, and if you are even slightly OCD, you will too! In a matter of hours I was able to inventory my kitchen, refrigerator, freezer and my laundry room. This would be a 5 Star app without question if I wasn't besieged with error messages that do not identify the problem. The "errors" do not seem to do much more than slow you down. Be careful if you are using on more than one device as the app does not always load all of the data from the server. Restarting and reloading solves the problem, but slows down the process.
Suggestions: a search button on the control bar at the bottom of the screen. The ability to edit tags, locations, etc, without editing each entry one, by one. Any change the images could be included with the the printed output?
Fix or enhance any one or two items above and I'll rate it 5 Star.....Show less@Rick5oh
Helps to Avoid Spoiled Food!
Yeah, I know that may seem obvious, but it's a big reason why I purchased this app, which is very well thought out and quite easy to use. Though the developers of the app maintain a database of user-supplied information, if you scan an item you've already entered, the app will pull up your information before it accesses the outside database. This is nice if - like me - you are rather detailed in the type of information you keep track of!Show lessAhoog69
Ruined app
It used to be such a great app but after the last "upgrade" it all got ruined. It is very slow now and does not move smoothly when trying to move the screen. A disaster, do not get this app. I spent a lot of time entering the items, all for naught.iTolola
First rate!
I’ve been using this app for several months to keep track of all those items in the pantry that I can’t readily see (avoiding duplicate purchases, keeping up with expiration dates, etc.), and it works great for that. The only hiccup with the app was difficulty getting all of the product pictures synched between my iPad and iPhone. I recently contacted the developer to address this glitch, and was very impressed with the timely responses, their patience as we tried different options to address the problem, and their willingness to provide some pretty time-intensive aid, if needed. Fortunately, the photo-synching issue was successfully resolved before we had to get to the time-consuming level, and everything is working wonderfully. I highly recommend this app, especially due to developer support!Show lessgradenka
Love it
It takes some patience to set up items as many items are not found automatically, but once you have scanned in the barcodes from your regular pantry contents, it's quite easy to add or remove items from your pantry list by scanning the barcode.DeDeb4
Great app
Have to agree with an earlier review that it takes a bit to get up and running but once you do it's great!! A couple small things that I hope change with time, that it just needs time for the barcode database to build and that tax can be added for those items that have it.
I think that it's just a matter of more people using the barcodes to build the database up because as of now barely anything I add is recognized. Now that's a small complaint because the setup works well to enter the info in so I can live with it.
The second though, adding the ability to say tax or no tax to a product would be a HUGE bonus. I have a mix of things an being able to see a true cost to my products would be the icing on the cake.
All and I think this is a great app just allow yourself the time to get it set up and you'll really love it.

Not user-friendly
Doesn't allow multi/continuous scanning, too many bits of info for each item have to be entered manually. Few of the items I tried scanning were in the database, not even the commonly purchased brand name items. NOT worth the money I paid...will be deleting ASAP.Laribri iTunes
