Pt for various training types

I have been using Jareth as a pt/coach for months for various training types and goals and he absolutely smashed it every time. He listens to all my small needs and wants and converts it into a program that is suited to what I like to do but also what he knows I have to do to reach my goals. The app is so convenient, full of community and supportive. I couldn’t recommend a personal trainer more!

Fitness App

Absolutely wonderful and very easy to use just love it

Apple Watch connection is awful

I would have given this app five stars if it wasn’t for the fact that the timer always loses connection to the Apple Watch before I finish my programme meaning my calories burnt reading is never accurate. This wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t for the fact that I use this app with my PT who sets me calories burnt goals, which I can’t really log accurately because the timer stops itself 20 minutes before I finish my programme. Really frustrating!

Clunky. Couldn’t change goals or save workouts

I was a client using this with my health coach. I tried to add a goal to walk 9,000 steps a day. Then every week we would increase that goal, but there was no way to increase it in the app. And I couldn’t figure out how to delete it. It was hard enough to figure out how to make it in the first place since they don’t really have a goal for tracking steps.

Then it would’ve been nice to be able to save entire workouts that I liked. Or save my favorite exercises. Also I feel like I paid to get these from my coach, it would’ve been nice to have access to them when I was done with my coach. But when I was done I lost access to the entire app. So I screenshotted my favorites workouts. But that’s going to be hard to find later on. And then I can’t track my weight amount and number of reps anymore.

I just couldn’t really change anything as a client. And when I needed a workout tweaked by my coach, she had to completely redo the entire workout and that reset all my weight amounts and reps again. Just a bit janky.

The app is easy to use and follow
The workouts and video examples are fantastic if your not sure what you doing in the gym
The support of a coach answering questions when needed are great
The fact that you can sync other apps like my fitness pal and fit bit is amazing so you can track your food and steps all in one check your protein can carb content.
Love the fact you can input your inches keeps you motivated when the scales are not moving as it’s not all about the scales but the inch loss

GAME CHANGER 😍

Verto Coaching app has been life changing. I know there is a fair few apps out there that do this but the way this program is run is totally different to anything else. To have a daily checklist of everything I need to do has made accountability enjoyable! The food selection is amazing and the support from the trainers has been unreal. The workouts and the way the app tracks are enjoyable and I actually want to go and workout. I couldn’t live without the app

Amazing

Awesome app and ben is fantastic

Great for PTs, annoying for clients

This app is riddled with annoying bugs that can ruin your workout. For instance, sound glitches which persist during an hour workout but at random intervals, very off putting. Some of the bugs that were there since 2017 ish have been fixed but a decent number haven’t. Similarly the reorder workouts thing I think has disappeared which means if I have a last minute football match and want to rearrange my sessions I have to go into every single one and change the date.

It’s not a bad app all in all but considering how much I pay for a PT I would expect this to be top top.

I haven’t even begun to use the full capabilities of this app.

Seeing my trainer Eliseo do all the workouts on his instagram motivated to try this app out even though I live a hemisphere and over 4000 miles away from him. This app allows you to adapt the exercises to the gym equipment you have, substituting exercises and having your trainer recommend best alternatives. Eliseo checks in with me every week and the fact that all my progress is right there for me to see, makes me super excited to continue the process of becoming the best version of myself I can be.
The app is awesome but the interaction with my personal trainer is what makes it better than any other app. When I have the money to buy an Apple Watch or Fitbit to connect to the app I’ll begin to see more of what it’s capable.

A great motivational tool

I was going to the gym a couple/three times a week and using a PT once a week. My trainer then asked me if I would like to use this app. He oversees my training by updating it every week and setting my training program. Not only enables him to understand what I do on the days that I don’t see him it really motivates me to complete the five times a week that he sets for me.
As the program is set in advance for me, I just have to do them all rather than have uncompleted ones left on it.
It’s really good that it tracks my personal bests - again the reward feedback for added motivation.
