It’s taken a while
I’ve tried every single weather app on here. I was a huge Dark Sky fan, then over time I slowly moved to Carrot (which I still really like). I want access to all that Carrot offers and I simply can’t justify that huge cost for weather data. So off I went on a weather search. I thought Apple’s weather would be the answer, but then I found Foreca. I love it. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it wins hands down for design, accuracy (I’m in countryside of the UK and it’s pretty spot on), ease to read and layout. I really love it, the maps are fantastic and the hourly data is so easy to personalise. I honestly can’t believe it isn’t higher in the weather app charts. Great app and a great price for the full version. Paid without any quibbles at all!Show lessmshewis
Great weather App
I really appreciate the detail especially the hourly temp/ sun/wind going forward for the entire week.
Downside: the ads are alarming!! Full screen without a cancel box requires swiping entire

Good but locks on advertising
This is the only app that matches Dark Sky. A little less intuitive but very good except for the advertising. Add samples occasionally open up ( which is understandable) but they will lock open in the app on my iPhone. Can’t go forward, can’t go back. Restarting the phone fixes it until next time.

There should always be a close button in the ads. You can also adjust ad type or remove ads in the settings page.Most customizable weather!

My New Favorite Weather App!!!
I was feeling lost when Dark Sky went away. I live close to the ocean so weather extremes figure into my every day. I tried all the usual app subjects, and none provided similar detail, or were well crafted visually. Foreca is my new favorite weather app. It's full of the data I need. It's fun to use, and ez to explore. And for a reasonable fee it's ad free. I was a longtime user of Dark Sky, and now that Apple has officially pulled the plug, Foreca is my replacement. Of the half-dozen or so apps I tried (in addition to Apple Weather), Foreca has far and away the clearest graphic & UI presentation of all of the information I do care about, without a lot of bloat I don’t care about, and without awkward UI quirks (like hourly popping up in a new screen). There are also more customization options than I expected.
My one gripe… while the graphic presentation is extremely clear and rational, it’s just not that pretty, and I would love to see the developers work on polishing up the graphic design to make it a little sleeker and more elegant (this would further improve the information legibility/scan-ability as well).
Overall though, this is a highly functional and useable weather app. Definitely recommended!Show lessvelobella6
Great App
So much to like. Love how customisable it is and looks great. Really close to being my go to weather App now Darksky is being destroyed. A few things for the developers and id love a response on this. I know development costs money so these features below could be premium features maybe? Could the radar update itself so it is always live? Could it have 5 minute increments option and update much faster? Its always lagging 5-10 minutes ..sometimes 20+ minutes behind. Uk weather is so changeable. Also could it be possible to select wind direction/strength on map layer options? Another addition: Rainfall intensity for the next hour.. Best interface
Nicely designed clean interface with lots of customization options. Unobtrusive ads and very low annual cost to remove them. Very accurate forecast also.jktb23
