What’s going on !!!!
I’ve used the app for the last few years and love it but since the update when pickup location was green and drop off was red and both were changed to black the app has been awful very hard to pre book, no drivers available, app telling you taxi is 2 minutes away and you’ve to chase it up after 20 minutes. This morning I had a hospital appointment pre booked 8:50 phone no taxi and when I phoned it would then be too late to pick me up for me to reach hospital for appointment, don’t know what’s happening with this app but it’s definitely responsible for losing customers.

Quality has dropped massively
Recently Fona cab have become very very unreliable.
The new feature on the app, logs your request, but waits ages for a driver to reply. Recently I tried to pre book a cab a day in advance and when it didn’t arrive I was told no cabs were in the area😤 The person I spoke to seemed to think this was ok when Indicated what was the point of pre-booking she dismissed my question.
Basically, what used to be a very reliable service is irratic and unreliable

Excellent
Excellent service, most Units are quite new units, first time to use it here in Belfast was very impressed but only issue is when all the Cab units including Value cabs and Uber are busy then its hard to find one otherwise all good.
Will definitely use it again soon when we come back here in Belfast.

Used to be Good
They changed it which modernized it which was better in design but far worse in functionality with the fonacab drivers.
Also the prebooking system is a joke because it gives you no benefits and a rider isn't assigned to you until like 5 mins before your booking. so if you prebooked during a busy time it doesn't matter that you did because it won't start trying to assign a driver until five mins before you booked the car. and then it can take more than 5 mins to find a car then even more time for a car to reach you. It's so inconsistent! Sometimes I book extra early then I'm way too early to my appointment and sometimes i book closer to real time and then i'm not even assigned a car until after the booking and i'm late. The assigning process is atrocious and gives no extra consideration for if you prebooked or not. It's ridiculous.

Fail - total fail!
I’ve tried to used this app about 10 times. Out of all those occasions, there are no taxis. Fail, total fail! If you’re going to put out an app for a service that seems to consistently have no taxis, then make this experience be smooth. It takes a lot of button clicks to find out there are no taxis available. It’s just incredibly frustrating!

Useless
Still waiting for pin code to just register. Tried 3 times. Now app says my number is blocked because i asked for pin too many times. But i never receive it. Terrible.
Don’t even bother with this company they won’t turn up!
Pre booked on the app the day before as I had an appointment at a certain time & yet still no driver for 20 mins after the time I pre booked & therefore made me lose my appointment which was extremely important so I won’t be using them again.
Apparently they have limited drivers & can’t designate any pre bookings for anyone so don’t waste your time & money on depending these boys will turn up on time coz they won’t & you will be lucky they turn up at all!
Disgrace & avoid!

Not user friendly and lost bookings
Disappointed with the latest version of this app. I booked a cab on Thursday and everything went well. I made another pre-booking on Saturday for Sunday morning and by Sunday all my bookings had disappeared, including the booking from Thursday with my receipt. I had to ring another firm to get me to the airport on time.

Tip?
You should add a function to tip drivers after they drop you off. We would have added a tip onto our card for our driver because he was so lovely and got us home safely.
Last nights driver
The gentleman who picked me up last night was nothing short of that - a pure gentleman. I was feeling unwell, he pulled the car over immediately in a safe location and stayed with me whilst I was sick. He even offered me water and some tissue. A true gentleman. 5 stars
