  • Awesome game.

Quite addictive. Cool ships and you can collect them all. - Ixnay Grey server.
  • Excellent Game

A fun and time consuming game. Make friend an explore, build up your ships and get better gear and equipment. Whether you wish to farm for credits or fight other players, this game is both entertaining and involves strategic thinking. Make friends in corporations and they will help you grow.

It took a little while to understand the game but after a day or two you get the hang of it.

  • AOS

As an online game player for many years, The Infinite Black has to be one of the most real-time and best space strategy games I have played in a long time. The interaction between ship Captains, your ships and the enemy, and the goals you have to aim for to better yourself, your alliances, and your ship, means gameplay is always moving forward with no stoppages for repetitiveness. I'm sure it works great on a phone but on an iPad it brings space into your home.

  • The Infinite Black

This has to be the best game I've ever played in my life! I first heard about this game from Galaxy on Fire: Alliances forum. I looked it up on the App Store and thought it looked weird, but I downloaded it anyway. Once it finished downloading, I played. I chose blue server and might switch to gray later. First getting into the game I saw Earth and the blue sectors around it. Super confused, I tried moving my ship around. I got to the grey space and killed some drones. I then got to lvl 0.05 and was invited into XForce, part of the 3Lions Alliance. Anyway, TIB, is really addictive and everyone in the game is nice and friendly. There is a lot to do from traveling and selling goods, auctioning off items, fighting Heteroclites or pirates, or espionage. Thank you Spellbook for making a very addicting game that everyone should play!

  • Simple yet challenging

It's amazing how simple this game is: concept is similar to the text-based PC games of the '80s (go west, go up...). But don't let that fool you. This game is hugely addictive and entertaining. You will start by simply farming pirate ships and other computer enemies in a relatively safe PVE zone (no real players can attack you here). During this time you build your war chest, buy better weapons, larger spacecraft... The kicker is when you join a corporation (guild) with other players and roam space on missions. Then you move into PVP zones where the loot and danger grows! This game has some of the most brutal PVP I have seen - thoroughly enjoyable. Takes a long time to level you ship - unlike flimsy strategy games where you can level quickly - this game requires time and commitment. But it is fun! FUN!

  • A Great Game

This is overall a brilliant game, easy to get to grips with, fun, with a great community and with a brilliant development team behind it who display a great deal of concern for the player. I do feel there could be more to do though, the game feels a tiny bit bare at the moment, hopefully that will change over time.

Overall I find playing The Infinite Black a fun and enjoyable experience that I am drawn back to frequently.

  • Awesome

    Very fun game.
  • My latest obsession!

Infinite Black is a MMO space exploration & combat game. The "space" is a grid that you can explore in your space ship. You never know what you'll find, on the next sector, it could be a fat prize or an agonizing death. The odds for the later increase the farther you get from Earth.
While at first the interface seems daunting... (First time I was vexed by it). There's a great online help, and interface is well laid out. The community is awesome. Join a corporation to speed up leveling and have mates to watch you back. There are many levels of difficulty, many types weapons, shields, and other equipment to try. Debs did a great job with this one and are actively engaged. Brilliant! ign vrillsharpe green
