Adding to the many requests for Fahrenheit option in Canada
Great idea for an app. However, it’s rather useless for this Canadian who cooks in Fahrenheit not Celsius. Please respond to the numerous requests to let the user choose which system to use. (F or C) Sounds like it should be an easy fix and great way for Weber to appear to listen to its customers.

Misleading
The front page of the Assembly Guide for my new BBQ says, and this is a direct quote: “For easy, interactive, step-by-step assembly instructions, download the free Weber Grills App.”
Good thing I didn’t throw out the paper assembly guide! It’s a lie to try to get you to download the app so you can stay in touch and buy more products. There are no assembly instructions on the app. I deleted it immediately.

Giving up
I have had the Weber connect device for about 2 years. They have steadily improved the app over that time: reduced crashes, better update process, significantly improved UI. However, it still fails it’s most important function - it won’t show an accurate temperature. The temperature fluctuates wildly. In smoking a brisket over the weekend, ambient temp would jump around a 50 degree range regardless of the actual temp. And the probe in the meat might suddenly jump 150 degrees (ie sending and alert that the meat was done and restarting the program) even though the actual temp was still only 80 degrees early in the cook. So giving up on Weber and just bought a Meater+.

Can’t register
Would be great if I could actually register for this app. I’ve tried several times over several days with no luck. No updates in 9 months to the app. If it’s no longer supported then take it off the store already.

Best there is!! Weber grills
I have had about every grill made! I’m now 60 yrs old and finally got a Weber, there is no question that they are the best! No flare ups cook evenly and do the best job of grilling! I also use the many apps that they have for your phone! The thermometer with probes work great too! Even tell you when to flip. You can pick the meat that you are cooking and it tells you everything to do! Right now I’m doing T Bone steaks and man do they look delicious with the grill lines and all! Do your self a favor and don’t wait til your 60 to get one!!!! Get it now!!!!

This app is a UX disaster
This app is a disaster. It gives unclear and generic error messages for simple activities such as creating an account, or registering a barbecue. “Something went wrong, please try again later” is not a suitable error message. In the first instance, my password wasn’t complex enough.. so just tell me that? Trying to register a bbq, it took 5 minutes just to work out how to select the date of purchase.. clicking on the date itself might seem like the right idea.. NOPE.. I found a UI element buried in the bottom right corner of my display that did the trick). I swear this app is guesswork all the way. Finally, having provide a purchase date, a valid serial number, and an image of the receipt? “Something went wrong, please try again later” So, you know.. I could try again later.. or I could delete this trash app.

Cooking Methods
The grilling guide that came with the grill and the app have different grill methods/times for the same food. Example, for pork loin the guide says sear on direct high heat then cook with indirect heat. The app says cook on direct high heat. Which is correct and why is there a difference?
