First Weber gas kettle buried in the ground on a patio 1972. Have had two others and two Smokey Joes. This Spirit E210 is the best now that there are just two of us. Top quality and a faultless design. We cook on it almost every night. Bought a griddle and have done full breakfast. One month and have used one tank of LP gas. Really love it.Show lesstoo tall too
App Recommends Undercooked/Unsafe Ground Beef
To my personal shock & dismay, the Grill Guide actually allows users to select “rare” and “medium rare” for ground beef, which is the #1 source of food borne illness after fresh produce & dairy. The App literally allows users to select “rare” and “medium rare” without providing any ⚠️warning or disclaimer⚠️ for the health hazards and potentially serious and life-threatening risks associated with undercooked meat, ESPECIALLY ground beef. Furthermore, the App’s internal temperatures aren’t even right. The Grill Guide says “140F” for “medium”, but the CDC/FDA says specifically that ground beef should NEVER be consumed below “160”, which is the temperature for “medium.” The Grill Guide is supposed to help new consumers get their food right. Worth the money
I’ve had various types of charcoal grills over the years. I didn’t spend a lot of money on them and I had no idea what I was missing. So glad I bowed up and spent the money on this one. Best chicken I’ve ever grilled. Able to control the temperature and used much less charcoal getting the job done. Love it.Show lessMark the Libertine
Registration Doesn’t work
Just tried this after spending better part of a grand on a new grill. When registering it says an error was encountered and to try later. Tried multiple times..,, no luck. Very disappointed. Maybe they should stick to grills and leave the cyber stuff to the experts.MarkMcC53
Registration issues
Hi - okay I did my part. I spent more money and upgrade my backyard kitchen (LOL) to a Weber Grill.
Now I’m disappointed- but not at the grill itself. I downloaded the app per the included literature. Simply put- it won’t allow me to register in the app.
Things like this have to be turnkey; it just needs to work. Yes - I love the this quality grill- but the app issue seems silly for this company.Show lessJberm455
Really, this is a Weber Grill Product?
Quite a disappointment from their previous app. They took away many of the grill timing info. And now with this version, they seem to be more interested n getting you ‘connected’ or ‘hooked up’ to their tracking of what you do with your grill and selling you things. Sad. Helpful…sort of.
The app was great for registering my product and the assembly video/tutorial was somewhat helpful, although I had to go the internet and find a blog to finish because the tutorial was outdated and showed the wrong assembly components. I was excited about the recipes until I realized that they are for grilling, not smoking, and since I have a smoker they are not so helpful. :(Show lessShaw05
Best app ever!
I always guessed at the doneness of my grilled meat - and usually I overcooked to be on the safe side. Since I’ve been using the Weber Grill guide, my meals have turned out perfectly every time. I love this app!mjwhiteflowers
