Liars
So for the month of October, I added a separate card to my account aside from my primary card, I lost my primary card so I froze all transactions I took my second card off(after my primary card came), but I have both cards locked due to these scummy people still trying to run my secondary card after I took it off,I talked to AT LEAST 4 supervisors and they assured me they took it off here it is another month and when they can’t get the funds off my primary card(locked) they try to run the card they promised they took off the account,every time I try to make a transaction at a store I have to unlock purchase and instantly lock it back because rest assure less than 1-2 mins after I get a notification saying “prime”,the more they do it the more I get closer to mom dad siblings Masonic brothers to unsubscribe, due to proof they can care less god forbid my mom has her main card on there she recently had to move all her money from checking to savings and only move the exact amount and if prime tries to run it between the times she doesn’t put the money in there it will overdraft the account and the next day and the next, I lost all respect for these people and have no morals

Not worth the sub cost
Absolutely not worth the subscription cost. I was paying for prime and the no ads add on, even with this add on I was STILL being hit with ads, and customer services actually tried to justify it like it was ok or meant to be that way?! Sorry, but “NO ADS” means - NO ads and that’s exactly what I was paying for. In the end I cancelled it and it’s even worse now, being hit with ads every 5 minutes sometimes 4 ads at a time. You can’t even enjoy the programs you want to watch anymore. It’s even worse than the discovery+ app for ads. So basically your being forced to make them money unlawfully WITH a subscription, and your being punished while being forced to make them money if you cancel the add on. I use to enjoy prime it was my favourite app but now I’ve switched to another for my content (uninterrupted) no doubt they’ll have a book of excuses for all the ads but they don’t have any for falsely selling you an add on that isn’t what it claims to be. The only good thing from a prime sub is the shopping side, the video side is no longer worth wasting electricity or battery power on.

False advertising.
This was a decent streaming service until they added ads. They said and still say “5mins of ads every hour” it’s actually a lot longer of ads every 30mins or less, there is more ads than seeing the show itself as ads pop up every 3mins or less with no less than a min each time the ads pop up making it your spending more time watching ads than you are the actual show you want to watch.
Now it becomes not just false advertising from prime but also scam and money scamming/theft due to no longer paying for a service they advertise but for the ads they forced their customers to accept. To stop ads we are expected to pay more which only stops the ads through some movies but not all making that extra money they want for no ads invalid as not all ads disappear.. if I could rate no stars I would. Prime went from being 4-5 star to 0 for this crime.

app can be a bit messy sometimes
honestly i love prime. has loads of good movies and shows and they always switch things up for what’s on prime and most of the time the movies that used to be on prime come back which is great. however there is a few issues. i find the app is quite messy sometimes. on my tv it can sometimes be slow and delayed. that could just be my wifi, though i’m not sure. but for some reason when i’m watching a series it’ll say resume episode on an episode that is far ahead and i haven’t even reached yet. for example when im on S1 it says to resume S2? and another issue is when i start a new series it weirdly plays the final episode first? not sure why it does this and i never realise because i click play thinking it’ll start from the beginning. The subtitles are also rubbish. they’re always out of sync. they are always behind, so not great. when i watch things on my phone as well the app tends to go all wonky when i swipe off for 2 seconds and it then freezes so i have to clear the app and then open it again. i don’t often need to swipe of but it is annoying when im texting a family member and i have to keep clearing the app because it just goes sideways. but i do really love prime. i just wish the app would not be so messy and delayed

This app makes me want to take a bath with my toaster
Every time I blink and the language is set to “default”. I keep googling it and all it says is to change the language, when I’m not a monkey, I know that much. It doesn’t work. It makes it this horrible English dubbing while I try to watch a show in a different language. It won’t let me change it. And don’t even wait for me to talk about the subscription stuff and how horrible their customer support is! So, so so many problems and more problems are waiting for you after the problems. It’s like a six year old made this app. Either that or the app just hates me. That’s what it constantly feels like. Like they’re purposefully torturing me because that’s the only way it could be this messy. I just want to watch “Marry My Husband”. Is that much to ask?

Really got selection of movies and TV shows but…
Suggest this app for many people who can’t find decent movies to watch, but for some unknown reason movies that I really wanna stream are unavailable?! How come? Was watching a movie 23/7 and tried resuming it the next day and suddenly says unavailable. Please help

Couldn’t just be happy as the one of the richest men on the planet. You have your employees living paycheck to paycheck, not even allowed toilet breaks, you’ve capitalised off of pandemics and destroyed small businesses. But like every cancer it doesn’t stop growing, even at the expense of everyone else. I ask you with the mandatory adverts you now force PAYING prime members to watch, is that money going towards paying your workers fairly? Fat chance. Ads on a paid service
Ads on a paid service is ridiculous & an unfair trading practice. Surely this is against some sort of consumer law.
Being forced to watch ads every single episode at inopportune moments about totally unrelated things while you’re trying to watch something, ruins the experience the directors intended. Especially if you’re already paying for a service that you expect to have uninterrupted access to, it’s absurd.
There’s almost no point to watching anything through this streaming platform if you’re going to be left furious no matter what you watch. Being forced to pay extra to have what you were supposed to already be receiving is bullying.

Malfunctioning ads
The addition of longer ads at the start and mid of episodes is not ideal however the fact that the ads seem to malfunction is just completely infuriating. Being forced to watch an add being played again if i click back into an episode I’ve already started or that the mid way ad skips ahead a few scenes and if I toggle back to see the missed scenes it plays an unstoppable ad again is pathetic and completely ruins the watching experience. I will likely end my subscription if these issues aren’t resolved.
