It’s uhmm… decent
With a variety of video calling apps out there you would think that zoom would upgrade “up” instead of upgrade “down” ( and no, I do not mean downgrade, they upgraded their app and yet made it worse, hence….) putting a time limit on how long you can chat with whomever you choose, and now, they upgraded down and not only kept the call limit in place but managed to separate themselves further from the competition by forcing you to wait 10 after you reach the limit to be able to create a new meeting link. But it’s ok because I’m sure that my loved ones across the world who are on complete opposite time zone don’t mind waiting a pointless 10 mins at 3am for me to call back because the only time I was able to call them was at 2pm( Thailand is 11 hrs ahead of us). It’s only a matter of time before the courthouses decide to switch up if zoom doesn’t stop thinking about trying to force us into buying a premium acct and start applying features that make us want to use it more because it’s easier and less of a hassle than the competition. Wake up ZOOM, you’re going to be forgotten if you continue this selfish and it’s what zoom wants incorrect foresight. Zoom was once the “go-to” for video calls until WhatsApp made them irrelevant for lack of a better more fitting word. If It weren’t that I’m cursed with receiving so many subpoenas, zoom would be just a nostalgic conversation.

Kids can use this?
I just downloaded this today to attend an as meeting online. I couldn’t figure it out to save my life. People kept telling me to turn my volume down on the bottom of my phone and I couldn’t see anywhere to turn anything down. Icons would show up across the bottom that said chat etc I’d go into chat type something and when I got out of chat the icons were gone. I slid right left up down tapped on the bottom the top. Couldn’t even figure out how to change my profile picture. And to think grade schoolers were using this during the pandemic. I guess I’m getting old. I’m 62. I used to be so tech savvy. I could figure any computer problem or app problem out. I was always the first to lend a hand when someone needed cell or pc help. I guess times have changed or my brain is gone because this is really a hard app to figure out to get used to and make yourself look stupid while doing it. Give me back mIRC. The chat program they had before computers had graphics. You could talk/chat with ppl all over the world by typing. I miss those days. The pandemic brought us Zoom. Boooo

One of the best online classes etc u can have!!
If you are looking for an app that you can just have a nice peaceful meeting without any disruption then i wouldnt recommend zoom enough. Since the pandemic, i have and had been using zoom for every online classes that i have. I remember when lockdown first began, our school first started using teams, but teams had a lot of problems and lagginess with it and after about a weeks worth of teachers and students complaining that the quality wasn't good at all, the headteacher then finally decided to go onto zoom. The minute that we had first started, i think everyone could tell the IMENSE difference in quality. (Also for reference i had also used skype before and that wasnt good either)! On that first lesson throught it all i remember there being NO lagging of even the slightest bit! So if you are looking for a website to have just a nice lesson or class without any lagginess etc i would definitely recommend zoom!

Outstanding and outclassed App
I was impatient to carry out necessary research but I really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 75,700 USD worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 214,575 USD within a couple of weeks. But I didn't realize I was dealing with a scam company, until I tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because I could not afford to let it go. So I tried all possible means to make sure I recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptography funds with the help of So I filed a report on darissealbertraymond (at) Gmail and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds withing 2 weeks I feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam to reach out to darissealbertraymond (at) gmail

Last update made Zoom unusable
I am a volunteer tutor. I paid for my own subscription so I could tutor disadvantaged ESL kids. They live 1000 miles away (they moved from the town I tutored them in). We would use the white board all the time for me to teach and for them to also write on and solve math problems or many other simple things we would do on paper if I was sitting next to them. Now the kids can not even find the annotate buttons. They get an error saying only people in the group (or something like that) can share or write or I don’t know what (they are kids and parents can’t help). Sooooo frustrating. Zoom is useless to me now and to them. We have been Zooming for 3 years. Now you add bells and whistles and make it so complicated to do something so simple. I went to website and found very long videos talking about all kinds of permissions and controls and I do not have hours and hours to try to figure it out and then may not be able to tell the kids what to do. I WANT A SIMPLE WHITE BOARD THAT BOTH SIDES CAN DRAW ON. That simple. Like it was. Can anyone recommend something to replace zoom that will do what zoom used to do? (PS: former app developer here that can not believe the garbage that is being put out as apps)

Just like a classroom, but please look into your cancellation policy
I use Zoom to teach large classes up to 80 participants and individual lessons. Zoom lessons are interactive because I can share my slides and videos. However their cancellation policy is much left to be desired. I tried to use the chat to initiate a cancellation but it was ignored. Finally I got on my laptop after they had taken off $230 AUD from my account, to cancel. I got an immediate automated response offering a discount for future use and cancellation in 2025! Correspondence to Zoom has been ignored. It’s sad as I have held Zoom in high regards and used it all these years up now, where the paid version is no longer needed.

Make this easier to use No pop up,
I’m thankful for Zoom , but when I go to use it . I end up going back and forth trying to get to the meeting room with my password and my number of my meeting don’t worry I can do that is is copy and hope that it stays copy then I gotta make it back over there taking a link and then I keep waiting for this. I’m using an Apple iPad for this thing does pan out And quiet now so I can put in the password and the number of the meeting and push the button. It says let me into the meeting somehow another it got to be easier than that I get all kinds of anxiety is wondering if I’m going to get into the meeting or locked out could you guys use? Use APPLE and see what could be easier? Your information from the email and also at the same time You gotta have a window open so you can read the notes for the meeting So I try to use the computers sometime if that door is work But you need to let it work because I can’t put both On the same desktop OK thanks.

⚠️¡Please Read!⚠️Software Problems💻, Money 💴, and Lagginess and Glitches.
Very cool and very efficient for my meetings, but if you don’t have an account and you’re hosting a free meeting, you only have 40 minutes and when your time is up, without warning they kick everyone out of the meeting and nobody knows what happened. When a person opens a “breakout room” and another person tries to join, sometimes it will just load and load and nothing will happen. I want to take into account the Wi-Fi. Whenever these problems occur, I know to most likely blame the connection, but 90 percent of the time, Wi-Fi is just fine and it is the software connection. Sometimes, randomly the meeting will kick the host out and no problems occur with host’s internet connection. Pricing plans are out of this world, and I don’t understand cost-wise. I understand the program is expensive, but when income slows, I’m not paying as much as I am now. Zoom is ok for now, but I’d like somebody to take into account what I am saying. I hope for a developer response soon, and I hope they will fix these problems within the software.

Audio Not Muting
Update: 10/31 There was an update recently and it fixed the audio problem. Yea!
I upgraded my iPad to 17 and now Zoom doesn’t mute the audio sometimes. I do Zoom meetings logged in with both a workstation and my iPad so I can go back-and-forth with screen sharing depending on what I need to show. I can trigger the audio problem by doing the following- 1. Start the meeting with the work station. Bluetooth microphone is connected to the work station. 2. Join with my iPad with muted audio. 3. Share from my iPad. 4. Stop sharing from my iPad and go back to screen sharing from the work station. After going back to the work station the microphone audio can be heard through the iPad speaker. I tried to mute it but it didn’t work. I also tried to turn the iPad volume to 0 but Zoom doesn’t allow it. It keeps a minimum level. It will jump back up. The way I “fix” it is to leave the meeting on my iPad, kill the app, and rejoin. Doable but annoying. I reported the problem over a week ago to them but I’ve heard nothing back and the problem is still there. So here’s your 1 star review since you’ve ignored me and you haven’t fixed it.

Zoom A Great Experience
My Zoom experience has been very good for me, and I’m happy to have been able to use zoom because I live in a rural area. I don’t have to drive over an hour away to my appointment. I can visit with my physician over zoom. Zoom is a great application to help you navigate through your own personal experience with your physicians on a personal level without having any interruption. You can actually visually see your doctor, and experience a true professional medical approach to your appointment.
I use zoom most of the time as it is more efficient for me, and also provides me with the opportunity to be able to see my providers at home. Being a person who has disabilities, it is very difficult for me at times to get around ,so zoom meetings are very important.
Overall, zoom is very helpful for people to have access to use for different types of activities that they want. It’s a great application!
