Support doesn’t know a thing. If you are overseas and trying to pay via card, will not work. It used to work before the pandemic, but started failing since Mar 2021

Apologies for the inconvenience. Use of foreign cards for payment is temporarily suspended due to recent fraud cases. Please use PH issued banks for the meantime. If the problem persists, please let us know. Thanks and stay safe!
Pay the bill

Try to pay my bill several times. Transaction does not go thru. Useless app.

This app never works, it would be convenient if you can use this app in paying your bills which is the purpose of this app but it never works.
Shocking Signup Process
I can understand why this app is only getting 1* ratings because the sign up process is horrendous and probably one of the worst I’ve experienced.
You can only sign up if you have a social media account. What about all the customers out there that aren’t on social media?
So I used an old google account to sign up as it’s the only one I had and now the name on my Meralco account is populated with my gamer tag from a decade ago and the email address is one I barely use anymore. Where’s the option to sign up with a username and password or email and password?
There were supposed to be 3 steps to the sign up process according to the first screen but as soon as I completed the first screen it said I could now log in as my google account had been linked. Tried to log in and guess what? My password was invalid because we’d never got to the create a password part of the signup process. Went through the process of resetting my password and I was then finally able to log in.
Contacted customer services via the chat to an agent feature to try and get the name and email on my account changed but they were useless.
The app itself is probably pretty decent but there’s some keys features missing from the sign up process which tells me testing during the development phase of this app was very poor.
I review businesses and their products as my day job so if you want a full review of your business let me know how to contact you because as it stands you’ll continue to receive 1* ratings and I’d recommend people avoid using this app in its current state. Salamat po!

Buggy on purpose?
A major corporation fielding such flawed web and mobile services is so ludicrous that one cannot help but suspect it to be intentional...

Your devs intentionally breaking the app
You will release a version that works then release an update that crashes. Same scenario with your Android app.

I am currently in US and I can track my meralco bill this is very helpful.
Doesn't accept international Credit cards
I was able to make online payments last year, pero after tge updates, etc. Hindi nako makabayad and hindi na nya ina accept ang payments online, sucks!

My bills for 2020 are a hodpodge of in person, online, and mobile payments. No rhyme or reason when one will work and the other not or both utterly fail.
MERALCO hasn’t a clue how to technically support apps nor online Bill Pay.
Doesn’t even have a support feature to log in with Bill information and make a one time payment as a workaround.
The worst part is when you’re on hold with the call Center at 10:27 and night waiting for a supervisor who might be marginally competent and can do more than regurgitate boilerplate the calls are flushed so everybody can go home on time at 11:00 PM. Happened more than once.
Why are so many Filipinos off-grid on solar? So they don’t need to deal with these idiots!
