Worse than a joke
If you have any kind of self worth you’ll continually delete this app. Then because you still haven’t found anyone, you’ll come back from time to time and try different approaches to no avail. Nothing will work, except dumping ungodly amount of money in, and even that will only work to get you a few matches. Most will ghost you after a few texts. If you’re lucky you might talk to someone for a couple days before they ghost. Then when you realize it’s been 4 weeks of paying and you still haven’t met up with someone, you’ll cancel your subscription and not having unlimited likes, you’ll begin to swipe only on people with the “Active Now” icon showing. And only those closer to your area. You’ll lower and lower your standards and your own self esteem, but the expectations remain the same. Impossible to meet these expectations. You’re not allowed to live any kind of unconventional lifestyle and still have love apparently. No living in a camper, van or renting a small space. You must have it all to be considered at all. You must have a perfect body, smile, everything figured out. It’s not about finding your other half and building together, now they have nothing and are looking for everything at once. Save yourself the trouble and don’t bother with this app. It’s nothing more than an L and a bad experience for everyone, way more risk and loss than reward. Actually, no reward at all. Just loss and risk.

Match group ruined online dating
The experience on this and other “dating apps” is nothing like times in the past. I used to be a model, am highly educated, and have worked on becoming the best man I can be. None of that matters here. The game is all rigged; that vast majority of profiles are fake. Match group does not care about the safety of their male user base; they only care about the money they can take. Even “photo verified” means absolutely nothing anymore; scammers exploit this feature and upload a photo of themselves while their profile is hidden. They then use those photos to “photo verify” their profile. After they’ve “photo verified” their profile they delete all their pictures and upload photos of some attractive woman. Tinder is aware of this and does nothing. I am a highly busy professional and haven’t had the time to “get out” as much as I’d like and apps like these used to be a useful tool to help meet people. Now they only serve to separate you from money while harming your mental health. The few women that are real on here don’t possess the values and virtues that are conducive to happy healthy relations. It seems I’ll have to meet someone the way everyone else has in the past which is a good thing ! I think we may be heading to a renaissance with so many people waking up to how much harm social media and apps have done to the social fabric of society !

Too expensive
The memberships are too expensive and there’s too many memberships because there’s tinder plus and you don’t get much then there’s tinder gold i think it’s called and it’s expensive because it costs £30 for 1 month & you don’t get much then tinder platinum and you don’t get everything because theirs more things to pay for & it’s expensive just for one month and it costs £40 so if you want to try it look at all the memberships and check what you’re getting and decide what one is best for you or pay for the lowest one tinder pus one week membership first but you will probably have too swipe and message a lot on day one to get anyone & getting one month will give you more time to swipe and message & get more matches but it will be more expensive and I got a one month platinum because I couldn’t be bothered wasting time and it’s the most expensive one but I gives you almost everything & I liked everyone on tinder to get matches and after you get matches it’s free too chat and send messages too you’re matches without a membership so swipe everyone to get matches then decide what match you want to chat with or send messages too but you’re better chatting with them & I hope this review helps people 🙂

Honest Feedback about Daily Check In’s
Hey tinder
Great app - trust me - love seeing all the profiles of not only attractive people but also genuine people in their bios.
But instead of getting a free boost or a super like, how about we actually focus on what someone is looking for and genuinely try and match them with a potential match? Let’s be real - I’m not trying to make it super obvious I’m into someone as it can come across as being too full on or too strong for what they’re looking for. So why not like a personality quiz that takes everything that you’re looking for in a potential partner and really try and find someone who you can share a bond or connection with?
But what would I know - I’m just someone who’s been on here for years - still trying to find that special someone 😊

DELETE OR REPORT MY ACCT PLS
Have had tinder on and off for years. This year in particular though, the app has been rotating the same 20 profiles repeatedly and it’s really annoying! Despite changing the distance and ages, even when I block those profiles, they are still appearing within the swiping cycle. I personally know there are a lot more people on tinder in my hometown than what it shows me. Really makes me feel like the app just wants to push you towards inapp purchases by doing so. HOWEVER My biggest irk at the moment is that I CANT DELETE MY ACCOUNT. I don’t want to pause it. I want it gone, I want my number and email disconnected completely! It keeps saying “sorry there’s something wrong”.. I’ve tried deleting it on the website as well to no avail. It only allows me to “pause” my account. In the meantime I’ve spammed my own profile in the hopes tinder will just report or delete my account itself. Thank you!!

They shadow ban everyone so there’s no one left!
They’ll be gone in less than 10 years, you only have to read all the forums on Reddit cause they keep shadowing banning all their customers off the app for no solid reason either! Dumb strategy if you’re a business as your losing customers by the second. The amount of reviews on here is crazy all saying the same thing. They also have zero customer service it’s all bots or generic messages when you try to reach them, and there’s no one left on the app cause they’re banning people left right and centre. They just ban everyone cause they think your a bot or for some dumb reason or because you triggered their algorithm, for me I copy pasted is just ridiculous. They have no service support either to actually get back to you and sort out the issues. They say they have to forward it to another team who never respond. The amount of ID you need just makes me think they’re data storing or data selling as most other dating apps don’t require all of that information. Why should ever you give a company your passport details?! Especially a dating app. Think about it. Worst app ever! Everyone should move over to Bumble instead, I’d highly recommend now that they’ve improved their app! Men and women can both message first now. Plus you can filter way more rather than being overloaded trying to look for something serious amongst a whole load of people look for short term fun! Don’t even waste your time!

Look…
To all the guys out there hating on Tinder, I get that there are scam/spam profiles, and that’s a downside you’re going to find on pretty much any online dating app. If you know how to spot them, it’s not hard to weed them out. The majority of these reviews go on about there being unrealistic standards, having to be either rich, super attractive, or just a “top tier” man in order to get matches, but what do you actually expect? Work on yourself first, get your life together, build whatever it is that you can be proud of and confident in before putting any energy into a dating app. Those things will reflect in more ways than just online dating, and the rest will come later. If you really want to learn how to attract other women, there’s also plenty of resources out there that are available on how, even if you’re just average or below. Whether it’s for just passing the time or any other reasons you could be on this app for, this should never be priority in your life. I don’t think I’m top tier by any means, but I’ve met several women on here throughout the years, a couple of them turned into serious relationships, and I haven’t had any regrets. Asides from that, Tinder is the OG, I prefer its interface over other dating apps, and it works as advertised.

WATCH OUT FOR MATCH GROUP
There is a malicious virus buying up all dating apps and the name is “match group”. They own tinder, Bumble, hinge, pof… etc.
They use a malicious algorithm which creates a very harsh and disgusting environment for users. I was a first user of Tinder when I was 16, it worked back then, normal matches, matches occurred at the times in which people would be using the app. Now, if you get matches it’s in the middle of the day and you might get 2-3 at the exact same time, it doesn’t take a professor of logic to figure that out. They withhold, they undermine and have created something that works into system that makes you pay… AND EVEN WHEN YOU PAY, absolutely no difference. Stick to indie dating apps like Yubo, because anything that is touched by Match Group is after your wallet and soul. If your dating app is lurchased by match group, find a new one. They are a virus amongst the new dating labyrinth (online).
Look up Match group, see the employees, ceo and the rest of them, and you’ll see they don’t represent anything that dating apps are meant to rep. May god have mercy on their souls and forgive them father for they do not know.

Probably not worth your time
If you’re a guy who isn’t a 10/10 with pics of yourself in Cancun or flying a plane, don’t bother. The game is rigged. Women have the power on here. You will get 10 likes and not stand out because the competition is that high. When you finally get a match and send a simple icebreaker message, you will get unmatched for no reason. Maybe she swiped right because she saw your name in recently liked you. Now she sees that you aren’t a model so she unmatches. That’s just how Tinder is. It’s for hookups, if you’re not a guy who looks like a one night stand type of guy then guess what? It won’t happen for you on here. I also want to say that the app is very greedy and constantly tries to take advantage of the desperation it induces to get you to upgrade to premium versions. The app is completely different if you’re a mildly attractive woman, if that’s you then I’d say the app is 5/5 stars because it’s basically guaranteed 200 likes within a day or so of making your profile. You’ll have so much to choose from you wouldn’t believe it. But if you’re a guy and you don’t look like Timothy Chalamet or Tom Holland or whatever guy is the new “meta” on TikTok right now, then it’s over. You must maxx in every way before you can get on this app and have any sort of success, which is what I’m trying to do. This app made me understand hypergamy and fem-centric society on a new level.

I got banned for no reason
I don’t understand the terms and policy of this app what so ever. I was banned for no reason. All of my photos are appropriate and my bio did not have anything close to being worthy of being banned.
It seems like tinder has a very flawed system in which it bans whoever it likes without giving any warning or notifications on why you were banned. This is an abuse of power right here from an app that has too much power. You can’t even appeal the reason why you were banned. It just doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve had my profile since 2015. I have deleted it every now and then to take a break from it. But redownloading it recently and have been using it for the past week, everything was fine. Until today, this afternoon I went onto the app to find out I was banned.
If this is how Tinder works and does things, by asking for personal information, wanting a bio and having you do so much to make a profile, just seems like a huge breach of privacy and an abuse of power.
I recommend anyone that wants to use this app, to not even download it. Because the amount of times I’ve seen my friends use this app, just to get banned for no reason, kind of blows my mind. Again, I highly suggest no one downloads this app at all.
