  • Great App! Wish my PsyD would use it!

This app is fantastic! It allows me to quickly rate and log my mood, and any factors that are causing/effecting it. Having other people like or respond helps keep me grounded and reminds me that I'm not alone in my struggle, at times when I don't feel I can reach out to those around me.

I've been wanting to get back to journaling for a while, but switch from my long drawn out blog (considering I haven't written in it for years) to a more condensed version like Tumblr. But I just didn't get it. This app is so easy to use and is perfect for what I need. I only wish my PsyD would use it and read my daily posts to keep up with me.

If all PsyDs and Therapists would actually "follow" their patients, they could do so much better at their jobs! I've offered my journals numerous times and they never read them. I understand they have to draw a line between work and free time, but wouldn't the patient trust them so much more if they actually took the time to learn about their patients in more than an hour (or 15 min. med check)? If anyone in the field is reading this, please take note!

And call me 😉 b/c I need a GOOD shrink.

  • Don't normally write reviews but...

This is a really nice app and the more I use it the more I like it. Really great for tracking mood to see patterns over time and to become more aware. Nice how you enter the mood name so it can be anything where other apps start with the happy/sad spectrum which doesn't really capture the right mood for me most of the time. I am using Alarmed to remind me to track mood through out the day - this would be a great feature to add to this app.

  • Every therapist in the world should know about this...

I got this app thinking it would be a good way to simply make a note of how my mood waxes and wanes in accordance with what is going on in my life. Previously the most efficient way to do this was with sticky notes. I'm not great at journalizing but I can take a moment to write down a single word to just describe my frame of mind that day. I find this is helpful to stay centered and objective, knowing that sometimes I have valid reasons for feeling the way I do or if it my just be a hormone or chemical imbalance that is causing me to feel off.
The first time I signed on I realized this was so much more than a mood tracker. I was put off at first because I saw that the free version doesn't allow you to post privately. I have trust issues... But then I realized that I am completely anonymous so I posted.
All the sudden I realized that this is a whole community of people struggling with a variety of different things. It's like a support group that covers not one select issue but brings together people from all over the spectrum. They offer support and encouragement and I can log on at any time and find someone who cares.
This is a real game changer for me. I wish I'd had this years ago.
I am so grateful. I just needed this so much and I hope from the bottom of my heart that whomever developed this knows just how big of a deal it is.

  • Perfect

    Simple and really pretty.

I love that I can choose to leave a comment on why I feel a particular mood, which is really helpful so that I can see what my triggers are in periods of low mood and discuss them with my therapist. I can also see what puts me in a good mood and try to include more of those things in my life.

This app has helped me so much in the last few months when I have been struggling with depression. It gives me an objective way to monitor my mood and see what happened, so that I can't distort past events in my mind.

The fact that it's so simple and quick to use means that even when I'm at my worst, I always have one thing I can do :)

I'm getting somewhat better, and your app has helped me more than I expected. Thank you.

  • Works well and looks good

I like the simplicity of being able to keep track of my mood both through the visual of the chart over a period of time and being able to look back at the diary for particular days. The only thing I would like that isn't currently part of the app (as far as I've been able to find!) is the ability to set a reminder to rate my mood on a regular basis.

  • Great for me and my health team

I love this app. The fact that it allows multiple entries per day, with keywords, ratings, and journal entries, makes it invaluable to me for tracking my moods, identifying patterns and triggers. My psychologist and psychiatrist both love being able to see a complete record of my week, without having to download or purchase the app themselves. They've also begun recommending it to other patients.

I've tried keeping a paper mood journal, but this app gives a much richer and user-friendly portrait of my state of mind, invaluable for both assessing the effectiveness of my medication regimen as well as structuring talk therapy. I rarely write app reviews but this one has been incredibly helpful, and I strongly recommend it.

(I should note that I don't use the community functions; maybe someday. Right now it's a personal tool to share only with my health providers.)

  • Best mood app I've found

Easy to describe mood, write about it and rate it out of 5. Don't put anything personal as it is all anonymous but public.
  • Excellent app

Helps me keep a track of my moods. I have the full version so I can use it like a diary if I want or if I want to go public, people are very helpful on there, I have never seen a negative comment on the app. Everyone is very supportive, we all want to help each other feel well and happy which is nice. This has helped me through some dark and anxious days. Thank you so much for creating this app, it's so helpful.

  • Very informative tool

I went looking for something to help me look at my ongoing headspace. Trying to see if any patterns in my moods. When I started this I was low. I bought free version which posted my entries to everyone. Some took the liberty to comment. For me, I felt this was a little invasive and I am in no position to be anyone's life coach ATM. So for $1.29 I bought the private diary. AND I LOVE IT! When I'm having a bad day. I can look back at my entries and be reminded that this is just a bad day not a bad life. Thank you for app.

  • Amazing

I didn't know that i needed this in my life yet here I am writing a review for it.
When i got this app i just wanted something that i could use to help get my emotions out and to see how my mood works. I had no idea that there was a function to follow people on there. Like i follow someone on here and we both check in on each other. We don't even know each others names. What I'm trying to get at is that this app is really nice even if you just want to quick get your emotions out when your on the go or for other purpouses.
