Mixture
I always find CAR to be the best car mag, with a great mixture of content. It does seem the last digital issue also had problems with mixing up its photo titles.
I finding the scrolling easy to read but also reduces the pleasure as I like to read a bit then look at the stunning photos and go back to reading a bit more, with scrolling its one thing or the other.
I also subscribe to modern classics and I find their approach to digital reading better, even if it is less “guided”Show lessc4rlts

iPad app does NOT work with subscriptions
Save yourself the money and the futile support emails with both Bauermedia.com and iTunes. The subscription feature does NOT work in the iPad app - period. The only support is FAQs that don’t resolve it. The subscription functions in the regular iPhone app ok.ac-ipad user
Great content, shame about the app
Been using this a while and though the content is largely excellent (though sharpen up on the editing please, average once an issue where something is duplicated or in the wrong place) it’s infuriating startup procedure is draining. What’s the point of having an app that can download content to view OFFLINE if it insists on spending 2 mins trying to ‘optimise settings’ which basically means download special offers for a magazine you’ve already purchased? I have been a loyal CAR reader for decades and welcomed the move to digital. The good news is that the writing and photography are still great. But whatever part-time, untrained editor is in charge of spelling, captions, and making sure the right photos in the right place needs to be replaced with a full time, paid digital error. A month doesn’t go by without a couple of egregious errors that are eventually fixed after I point them out. No other digital magazine I read has these problems, and it detracts from what should be a fabulous reading experience.Show lessAdambravo

This is the magazine for those who love motoring, it is full of a variety of articles highlighting what is new in the world of motoring. The featured writers are excellent and show a depth of knowledge about the variety of marques and are clear to show the de eloping trends in the automotive world. For me if you are to subscribe to one magazine this will be the one to read every month
Why not five stars? For me it is the functionality of the app that can be problematic and at times it can mean you loading and uploading in order to get your subscription. It also often will not recognise when updates by Apple have taken place causing further issuesShow lessMauricemaria777

Keeps quitting

I like it but...too many errors!
CAR has always been my favourite car mag for many years...and the app is easy to use and navigate...
...but there are just too many mistakes and errors! Does anyone actually proof read the app version or try to view all the photos? I would suggest more time is spent on this before releasing it for the public to enjoy...it spoils the quality feel of the publication.Show lessDB010468
