Terrible
Such a shame this app does not work as it is supposed to. It's hard to know where to start - fails to control the blinds as programmed, loses communication constantly, does not work unless an Apple product with the app is live at the scheduled time (even though this is specifically mentioned as unnecessary), basically this app does not work well at all. Supposedly an update is due, it will be interesting to see if there is any improvement.

Works great!
I see lots of complaints about this app but we got ours to work just GREAT! It took a while but with the help of the online guide that walked us through setting up the automatic schedule for our Duette blinds, (and calling their very helpful support line once), it all worked beautifully. Yes, these blinds are expensive. Yes, it was a bit of a challenge setting up the app. In the end though, well worth it!

Loses connection - unreliable
Difficult to programme, loses connection and cannot select wifi network in app
Effectively useless
The Wi-Fi unit has to be constantly reset. This makes the app effectively useless.
Great add-on
I read the reviews. I have no problems with my Platinum app to operate my Hunter Douglas shades. I have a patio door and one window shade. Set up was easy. My installer got it up and running in minutes. I handled the rest setting up timers and scenes. No problem so far. Timer feature is great. They close in the evening and open in the morning. A bit pricey for the motorized feature but I love it.

Pathetic App!
I spent $15,000 motorizing my shades so that I could use them with this app. Bottom line is that it DOES NOT work. Every time you operate one shade you have to exit the app and go back in before you can do anything! My repair person has been here every week, sometimes twice and he has finally thrown up his hands and recommended that I stick with their clunky remotes! Is this what you pay for?
I would recommend you try Lutron app. I am using it with lighting and IT WORKS!

Turn on location services
I was having problems which were resolved by turning on location services on my iPhone.
Needs upgrading
The app does not respond to the time change and you have to go into the app and change all the opening and closing time of the blinds twice per year. Blinds respond sometimes and don't at other times. This app needs some serious upgrading.

Very good yes. Perfect no
I don't know why there are so many negative comments. Other than a bit of learning required due to the complexity of the app, I've had little to complain about since the last software update. I wonder if the dealers/installers didn't do a bad job of setup or explaining?
