Very poor app

It astounds me each time I use it just how bad this app is. Doesn't pick up the rooms and makes me restart. I've lost shades in each room and need to add them again. Annoying that after setup it just falls apart over time. I wish I could give this a quarter or eighth of a star rather than a full star. I'm sure they're glad that the app keeps asking to rate them.

Poor app

The app works well for controlling the shades on command. However, it performs very poorly on scenes which work less then half the time it's supposed to. Most often the set time will pass and the shades haven't done anything.
Design of the program is also poor.
So two stars for it not working so often and being poorly and strangely designed.

If it worked it would be great :-(

But it does work, occasionally. On those rare occasions, I squeal with delight and wonder. The rest of the time, I just want to strangle the lazy, half-hearted software and hardware engineers that tossed this together. If Tesla can make an app that controls the heat, charging and tracking of a car, why can't this overpriced system just raise and lower the blinds reliably?

Great potential

This app is in its infancy it needs to be more user friendly. Navigation is ackward. BUT the potential is incredible. I will give Hunter Douglas a chance to do upgrades they have a reputation for innovation. The app works; my blinds open at sunrise and close 30 minutes before sunset. Exactly as I've programmed. Love that feature.

Works occasionally

This app works occasionally at best. When it operates them at all it doesn't work well. Some shades go up, others don't move, some shades go halfway and stop.
If you're going to sell a product make sure it is tested before you put it on the market. It was expensive to buy 13 sunshades that won't go up or down unless you push the override button at the property. We were sold on the fact that we could use it from our second home remotely. That's not true.

The idea is great and now it works well

They finally fix the sunrise and sunset with there update. I love the idea and the concept, its a great app. If they can also make it when your away to control it would even make it better.

Works!

Works ok, most of the time. Every month or so I need to reset (resync) the blinds. Changed service provider and same issues.

Garbage

The app is unfriendly, non-intuitive, incomplete and lacks a decent GUI. The shades work intermittently and Hunter Douglas has been unable to fix them. Have had hardware replaced multiple times. Use of proprietary technology means they only work with (the as yet to work consistently) Hunter Douglas app. Works fine from Hub but inconsistently from repeaters. The app includes "remote access" from main screen but this has not been implemented yet and does not work. So why is it there?

This has lots of promise but after several years has failed to deliver.

App won't talk to controller

This system doesn't work. We had a Hunter Douglas certified "motorized" installer come down to troubleshoot the system. He didn't find any problems and spent two hours setting up the whole house by syncing every blind with the system. When he went to show me how to setup scenes, he made a morning one, then while making a bedtime one the system froze and the app wouldn't communicate with the the black controller. This was after he had been using it. He never could get it working and is waiting for tech support from Hunter Douglas. 3 days and no word from tech support.

I don't have any idea how the app works. No menu.
