MechCommander on Mobile!
Alright, let’s begin with how the game plays (on an IPhone SE, although this game is designed for IPad). To begin, since it isn’t ‘designed’ for phones, it plays perfectly on them. Which is awesome, MechCommander on the go, minus a few things that wouldn’t work on mobile devices on the sized maps given (which are quite nice) like the ability to capture bases and collect resources, so a timer is applied to those things instead, which you steadily unlock. The cutscenes are well done as well. Generally moving your mechs around works well, but the running animation looks a little derpy :). Attacking an enemy is done alright, however it makes using each pilot’s individual skill very difficult, and using the minimap to move around the map is a little jerky but generally unusable. The missions are relatively long, and the game has decent replay value (Although it can feel de-moralising to have to re-do a mission). Something else that would be fun would be incorporating a multiplayer mode, but I can’t see it happening 5 years after this games hay day. Anyway, the point I’m getting at is if you want a full-fledged mobile game which is also an RTS/love MechWarrior and MechCommander this I a fantastic game and is worth every cent, of you can get past a few bugs along the way!Show lessAnontakenname

Game is ok
A bit dated at this point and clunky at times. But for that Battletech fix on mobile the itch is scratched.
But 4/5 to developer for suddenly aggressively supporting a 6 year old game! In a world where so many developers (Harebrained Schemes,,, cough cough) abandoned their games with the 64bit upgrade, kudos to the developers. Hopefully this nets them some new sales.Show lessHagshjdifjskb

Great game, but force closes
App keeps closing down when I'm playing on missions randomly. I'm running off iPhone 7 with latest updates. Plenty if storage yet it keeps force closing?
This is a shame as it looks and plays like a great app yet the closes make it hard to continue playing especially when your paying £7.99 for it!

Nothing Wrong
I, as a child, LOVED the mechwarrior games back then. But, this one is the only one the App Store so I figured I'd get it and I did. This game is great and easy. It might be a short game, but it is very fun. I do recommend you buy this game. I looked at the other reviews and how they said there were bugs, there aren't any. I'm playing this on my 5S with 10.0.2 and it plays as if nothing is wrong. This is all legitimate.Show lessAtom the beastery
Thanks for the long waited fix
I've been waiting a very long time (around a Year) to see this game fixed. My issue was the crashes upon opening game. Now that's fixed, I have to say that the Game is awesome! I'm a huge Battletech/MechWarrior fan. I'm thankful I finally get to play this version.Möbius knight
