Meh...
When I heard about this game, I was super excited. The return of my favourite strategy series was something I had always dreamed of! Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The presentation is horrible, more than one minute of looking at the menu makes me puke. And don't even get me started on the HUD.
Graphics have no style and are incredibly uninteresting. The Unity engine was not the right choice for this game, as everything looks copy-paste from a 3D asset website. New mech designs are nowhere near as endearing as the old ones, sporting generic and boring weapons.
The sound effects in this game are good, at least, but the music sounds like someone farted in a room full of brass instruments. So called 'cinematic cutscenes' have a horrible pixely qualityShow lessMadhouse 2013
Disappointing
Such a pity, I love the battletech universe, but there are so many bugs in some missions that the game is almost unplayable.
To be fair, I haven't got the latest IOS installed though.Nanktank

The best they could do?
Much like the travesty that is iOS 'Dungeon Keeper', the best thing about this game is that it reminds you how good the original was. It inspires you to play that 20+ year-old game again, rather than waste time with a cheap knock-off that crashes frequently.palmer eldritch
Very good game
This game has very nice gameplay, but is not stable enough for what I believe is it's final release. It also might crash at any point in time during Winfield Planet missions. I suggest that you should only buy it if you have an iPhone 5 or Ipad Air/4. But other than that, this game is a good recreation of MechCommander (good enough to earn 3 stars), but lacks multiplayer (1 star gone) and a much needed instant action mode (loses another star here).Show lessFlamewarrior558
Avoid, unplayable :(
I'm a huge mechwarrior fanboy so it pains me to say this is an unplayable piece of garbage On my iPad mini.
The game is unstable even with all options cranked down to lowest settings and cloud options turned off. This needs a patch.commonsenseal
Buyer beware pretty darn awful
I'm a pretty big fan of the battletech universe and MW in general but this looks nothing like screenshots it's stretched out to fit iphone 5 and looks warped and almost unplayable not menus and overlay mind you but the actual gameplay. Also huge glitch on second level wherein you can't use the interface to control scout drone that you need to get past that level the button is cut off and won't let you select it. Pretty disappointed buyer beware and messing with video options in app doesn't fix it you can't fix the screen warp just make small improvements to graphics like shadows etcShow lessMatthewkeville
Not stable, do not play
I'm a fan of the type of game, but this should not have been released, it crashes and is very buggy._O
Not worth the buy
Very unstable kicks you out of game a lot. Very quick to finish as well need to add more missions.Paleale999
Has potential, but needs improvement.
I've played through the game 4 or 5 times now on different devices at different difficulty levels. The game will crash on nearly every mission, even with all settings turned to the minimum and no apps running in the background. Often the crash is at a critical point in the mission, and results in having to restart the mission or back up to a previous mission.Show lesscarfl
