Already love it!!
Before you read, I should mention I haven’t used this app for a while, but I still believe that I can write a good enough review lol
Anyway, I LOVE this app, it gets you right into the action and I think that it’s really immersive. I’ve been really into everything zombie related recently and funny enough, this is actually the app that got me to start walking and running more lol. I literally have been excited to go running and walking just so I can use this app.
The app itself is also super easy to use and I absolutely love how they let you listen to your own music. The app also gives you a little background about what’s going on during the sessions and shows you exactly what you’ll be doing during the video (walking, running, brisk running, etc.)
Overall I think this is a super cool app and it’s especially great if you’re into zombie games/movies 🫶

Best Running for Fitness App
Since discovering this app all those years ago I have loved it. It is absolutely worth getting - the episodes definitely keep you entertained and hooked with the added bonus I wanting to listen to the next episode.
Never thought it’d be possible
Now if you had told me I’d be able to run a 5k after 8 weeks I’d have laughed in your face. And two days ago I still didn’t think it was possible. I don’t know what happens on week 8 of training but something within you just unlocks and you’re suddenly able to run?? This is coming from a girl that walked every single mile run in gym class… I’m not kidding. Never in my LIFE have I been able to run a mile so when I finally did it that first run in week 8, I told myself that even if I don’t hit the 5k at the end I should be supremely proud of myself and I was!!! But then that second run in week 8 I did 1.5 miles without stopping and today I did a 5k… was it fast?? Absolutely not lol but considering two days ago I didn’t even think I could do it??? I’m so so impressed with this app !! Would recommend even for non runners who want to get into running, they really do start you slow and you’ll probably end up surprising yourself!!

Can no longer access without going premium
An update seems to have gone through since I last ran prior to an injury. Now you get the “option” to trial the premium features or just opt in and pay for them. No option to opt out of the premium feature and use as before.
Pretty disappointed.
Pretty disappointed.
Won’t allow me to use! 😢
Keeps saying I have “denied motion” but I have opened all access - and still can’t even try it out. Very frustrating.
Needs fixing
2 of my first 3 runs just stopped the program at the 8th or 9th sprint and doesn’t mark is as completed. Only way to restart the entire thing and no way to fast forward to where we were in the session. Not going to use this if it just flushes/crashes progress.
Fun way to keep motivated
I enjoy listening to this whilst running, the stories are engaging and fun. Also a bonus you can listen to your own music.
Good when it doesn’t crash
The current version has crashed at least 50% of my last runs, probably more. Seems to be right as you unlock the phone to hit stop and record the run.
I’m still using it but getting tedious now.

I love this app but y’all gotta fix these issues
I have used this app on and off since it first came out. I never completed the entire training (but that’s a me thing not a you thing). BUT my sister and I decided to start training together (2 workouts apart, 1 workout meeting at the park between us.)we both have iPhones…she finished the first workout and the app crashed as she was opening it to complete her workout. I was on my second workout when I went to reopen the app to complete my workout and the app crashed. In both instances our workouts were lost as you can imagine is quite discouraging especially when you’re first starting out. If you check the apps known issues it says that the app crashes near the ends of runs if you have many run logs saved WELP, I had *one* log saved and in my sisters case, she had ZERO. Please fix this issue! It’s so discouraging. I want to be able to keep using this app for training!

Not always accurate
I really enjoy the variety in drills this app provides, and love that each day there’s a different part of the story. I always do this on a treadmill, though, and have my phone on the stand rather than in my pocket because I like to keep track of the time. 1 - even though I have the settings to track steps rather than GPS the app doesn’t believe I’m going anywhere because my phone isn’t in my pocket. 2 - some of the descriptions for each day aren’t what is actually done each day. For example, week 6 says run 12 min but it’s actually walk fast for 5 and free form run 7. Week 6 day 1 has you run 7 min walk 2 min twice but the last 7 min run is actually 8 min. Sometimes the amount of time that is noted isn’t accurate. These are all things I can get past but still simple annoyances to fix.
