Quick check departure time

I add my favorite stations-trips and very quick to check the real time departure. Pretty reliable for Civic Center and Concord at least.

Never accurate

Can’t believe i was using this app for so long. especially since there’s an official bart app. I liked it because it was so easy to plan trips with it, but it’s so inaccurate and has made me miss a train so many times. It’s not even correct with the new times BART came out with.

Crashing

I’ve had this app for awhile now & have never had a complaint, because the app is great. A couple days ago when I would go in the app it would restart my phone. I have even deleted the app & re-download & I get the same problem. I hope this could get fixed soon

Best app available. Not even close. I’ve used them all.

Doesn’t give information requested

I put in an arrival time and app directed me to a train arriving an hour later. A BART timetable is more accurate and gives you multiple trip options, not just one trip (like this app)

Not real time

This app does not give the real time updates on the train departures/arrivals

Malware?

While using this app, the main screen went away and started to play a porn video. I confirmed it was this app because closing and opening the app was able to reproduce the problem. I immediately uninstalled.

Used to be great, what happened?

This app used to be very dependable and deserving 5 stars in my opinion. However, for the last couple months or so, it has been woefully unreliable. The real-time departure info is THE reason I got this app, but that info has become unreliable. For example, during this morning’s commute from Concord to SF, the app indicated my train was 5 minutes away when it was actually about 2. When I got on the train (after running after seeing it coming, I might add), the app said it was still 3 minutes away.

Please fix. Or, I will certainly look for an alternative.

Hi apersoninusa - appreciate the feedback. This has been frustrating on the developer side as well. Easy BART uses a passthrough mechanism, which means it requests real-time departures directly from the BART's servers and delivers them to you (the user) unaltered. With the launch of their own official app, they changed the long-running staff responsible for maintaining their system which serves 3rd party developers. Unfortunately as they've performed migrations and system upgrades their data has occasionally been out-of-sync. Please hang in there, as it seems to be improving. Thanks again for using Easy BART!

Never trust these departure times!

Run 5 blocks to make a train that will place you in DT right on time just to arrive and it says 7 mins? Happened twice in a week with no weather issues or police reported issues. They simply don’t update their times in a timely manner to keep the information they present accurate.

Terrible!

This App is awful! Do the people that made this app actually use it? If they did, they’d quickly realize that their app is not user friendly. You cannot look up a train schedule and view multiple departure times. You have to go in and change the time to view the different departure times. Sorry but the only option is to delete this app.
