Used to work. Now doesn’t.

Update- when the developer saw my review I was contacted. Apparently my ticket was closed without being read. They have given me a 6 month subscription for free and rectified the problem. The app now works well across all my devices and I do really like its functionality and appearance. I have given 4 stars because I am concerned the problem will recur.

I used this app for years paying £1.49 per month for premium and thought it worth the money. I sync it across 3 Apple and 1 Windows device. All used to work very well. In the last six months at the end of every month it has said my subscription had expired despite the money being taken by direct debit. Each month I had to contact support because the app wasn’t working. It was resolved at first but the problem recurred every month. It has not been sorted and now support have stopped answering any emails even when I told them I would have to cease payment if they couldn’t sort it out. No response. I was paying for a service I wasn’t receiving so have reluctantly stopped using the app and stopped the direct debit. Very disappointing. Poor customer service.

Terrible Support

I was a long time premium subscriber to this app. I always liked the functionality of the app but when the developer finally rolled out the Apple Watch update almost 2 years ago I was very disappointed. The Apple Watch didn’t display any notification of the number of tasks of any sort. It just displayed dashes. Also, there was no task detail showing on the main display of the To Do cloud complication on the Apple Watch. I opened a support ticket in January of 2023 only to have the ticket close automatically with no mention of an update or a fix. That happened too many times to count and I repeatedly had to follow up and ask for the ticket to be reopened. I finally gave up and cancelled my subscription. It’s unfortunate that as a long term user supporting this app that I my many attempts at addressing the issue fell
on deaf ears.

ToDoCloud

I have been using ToDoCloud for more than 10 years since before it was ToDoCloud. I use it to keep both my personal life and my work life organized. Its array of lists, smart lists, tasks, projects and checklists provides for extensive tracking of task. All items can be dated, timed, prioritized and tagged. The search function is inclusive. Appigo support has been very helpful on the couple of occasions when syncing failed me.

Buggy

Syncing with my iOS devices is very useful, but I find the desktop software to be very buggy. In the middle of editing a task, for example, the app will suddenly attempt a sync and the task you're editing will be replaced by another unrelated task from your list.

Problems with cross-platform sync

I reported this problem a year ago. It's true today and its a dealbreaking bug - are you paying any attention to this app at all?

A Year Ago:
I use the todo scheduler app both on my iPhone and on my iMac. I recently did a reset on one of them to make sure they each had the same data. But since then, changes on one platform are not being replicated on the other platform, even when I sync both and even when I quit both and restart. I'm going to have to restrict myself to making changes only in my iPhone while resetting the iMac version every day or two. Frustrating since I've been a user for many years. This problem is recent.

::UPDATED:: Time to move on (I’m staying)

I’ve been using app for years, long before it was even To Do Cloud. I’ve dealt with all the hiccups, upgrade issues, and paid the annual subscription fees. I was a loyal user and app got me through busy family schedules, busy work life, busy volunteer job, under graduate, and graduate school. I just purchased my first Apple Watch and apparently app doesn’t work on the watch. That’s just crazy! Seems unfortunate. Sigh. 1/3/23 update: I tried other apps and none lived up to my expectations. (You all set a high bar for me). I broke down a couple of weeks ago and gave in and purchased an annual subscription - even knowing it wasn’t on Apple Watch. I figured I’d just deal with it. Very excited to see todays email announcement. Thank you. I reckon there will be bugs as it goes with updates. Fingers crossed for smooth rollout. I’m glad I stayed.

Amazing todo list app

I have been using this app for many many years. It keeps me organized as I can separate my tasks by home, work, volunteer and extended family obligations. Every evening I can move unfinished items to the next day or a future date. Every morning (after coffee) I open the Today list and can see what I need to know, or remember, to plan out my day. I use the recurring task feature to track things like when bills are due and to help me remember upcoming birthdays.
I recently had an issue with one of my work lists on my computer version of the app. I sent in a support request and am so amazed and gratified by the quick response and the detailed work of the support team in helping me resolve the issue. They kept at it until the issue was resolved. I couldn’t recommend this app more highly!

Disappointment, I fell kinda scammed

I’ve been using this app since LONG YEARS. For starters it wasn’t with subscription system, you had to buy it up front so it obviously had full functionality. Then, they changed to subscription. They added few thingies like adding other people to your todo. What’s the most important is the fact that they PROMISED we who had payed for it up front, it won’t affect us at all as all functions added by subscribing premium are add ons to the functions we already had. However, year after year they have been cutting functionality of non premium users, so technically I paid for this app up front in the past and now they are forcing me to pay subscription anyway! I can’t copy tasks, I can’t do projects, I can’t do repeatable tasks I can’t I can’t I can’t I can’t do almost anything in this app! And you PROMISED years ago that your stupid subscription system won’t affect people who paid up front! LIARS!!! SHAME ON YOU! Looking for app of your competition, that’s not the way you treat your customers.

New Version

I’ve used this app for years and found it very useful and user-friendly. How do I add a time to a task while I’m creating the task? It seem I have to create the task and go back into it after to add the time. I’m speaking of tasks that are not all-day or multi-day tasks.
