Impossible to actually use
Use apps all the time. This one you are supposed to be able to have an e-voucher for your car so you don't have to print or try and remember. I can never get the evoucher to actually come up. You're supposed to get a link in your email that you have to click on to verify. Never seems to show up or if it does, it only works once and the next time you try to log into app you'll be starting over with no success.

Insanely difficult company to deal with and nogh impossible to change or cancel any booking

Will never book with Rentalcars again. Booked a mystery car which was shown as a five seater five door with Ace Car Rentals. Arrived to pick up our car only to find we were allocated a Kia carnival 8 seater which was way too big considering it was only my son and I travelling. We were then offered a RAV but had to pay an extra $83 which I was told people do all the time as their mystery car is generally the Kia Carnival. This is not only false advertising but ends up being more expensive than other car rentals I could have chosen. I voiced my dissatisfaction with Ace when I returned the car and told somebody would contact me but never heard a word back. I then contacted Rentalcars with my complaint but they responded saying there was nothing they could do.

Scam
The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I rented a car for 2 weeks but my flight was not arriving on time to collect it that day. I said i could collect it the next morning. They said this was now a new booking at live rates and would cost me another $2000. Had 5 days of back and forth but I couldn’t cope with the incompetence of the staff any longer. Every person i talked to gave me different incorrect information. They didn’t seem to know what was going on, and had no idea how to fix it. I cut my loses in the end and cancelled at a loss of a few hundred dollars. Terrible company out to scam its customers.

Do not use this APP
This app creates a sale of a car rental service but without any responsibility. The company renting out the car can ‘turn off’ your ability to make any changes to your rental and this means the functionality of the app become useless for you. Both Rentalcars and the car rental company are guaranteed of getting their money but the consumer is negated in the process. Avoid using this APP!

These guys are a con!!!!
I booked a car at Valencia through them. When I was making a booking, I entered both my flight number, TK1313 which arrives from Istanbul at 18:00, and the pickup time, 19:00.
The booking confirmation they sent was 10:00. Based on my previous extensive experience with rental companies, it was ok – they would keep the car for you and follow your flight timings.
However, when I arrived at their provider, RecordGo, the counter employee said that as the reservation was for 10 am, the system only kept it for 6 hours, and they could not give me the car.
I called RentalCars, and having spent 45 minutes on the phone with their employee, finally received assurances that they would make a refund.
However, when I got home, an email from RentalCars was waiting for me saying that no refund would be made. SO IT WAS A SHEER ROBBERY of over £1,100.
Of course I shall get the money back, through courts if necessary, however people don’t bank to get this kind of abuse going on holidays.
THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS, STAY CLEAR!

WORSE CHOICE
It’s a bad decision to rent cars using this internet company because if you need to cancel they will try to penalize you although the ad is saying FREE CANCELLATION. Please rent directly with each rental car company to avoid loosing money and eliminate the stress to recover your paid money. I am still fighting my booking because I cancelled when I visited the rental car office, but rental cars is saying it’s A NO SHOW… unfair and pure bad business practice.

This is a scam
Flew into Orlando and this place was no where to be found. Called ahead and they never answered. I finally got ahold of someone in the UK. They gave me the run around . I was told I could cancel and rebook with them. All they needed was to be paid again and I would get a refund from the 1st booking. No way was I falling for this. I demanded a refund and they said they would charge me $139 for cancellation fee and the rest would be refunded. I agreed knowing full well that i would never see any money returned. Contacted my credit card and they gave me the refund. Total scam so don’t fall for it.

The prices shown on the app are not true
I booked a car four months ago and paid almost full amount 435 dollars out of 600.
When I was picking the car I found additional charges of 800 dollars and another 500 dollars to be blocked on the debit card so 1300 dollars additional charges. When I couldn’t pay this amount due to limitation on single credit cards from my country, they didn’t give me the car and charged me for a cancellation fee of 170 dollars and claim they can’t return it due to “company policy”!!!!

Had an issue trying to modify a booking.
Was told to call in. Was directed to make a new booking and was told that I would be charged a penalty on the first booking. Definitely a language
