Good ideas, okay implementation, poor support.
I took off two stars for poor support and bugs. So so many bugs.
I have some vision issues and use Accessibility on my iPhone. I was finding it hard to identify which pills had a green check, blue exclamation point, or nothing at all. When I emailed to ask if a different, more obvious, indicator could be used, I was told that the app already had indicators in the form of green checks, red exclamation points. When I replied, I received no follow up email. Other emails to support have gone unanswered. Requests to join Beta Community go ignored.
The app also has a ton of little bugs. Notifications work, then they don’t. The time box disappears from the Today menu. Editing time of medication requires a force-quit and restart to get the app to reflect the new time.
My biggest annoyance though, and the one thing that will get me to stop using the app altogether, is that the app has no sense of scroll location. I scroll to find a med, click through and then back - I’m at the top of the page. Logging as-needed meds, scroll to the medication, mark a dose and save - I’m at the top of the page again. This is one of the easiest issues to fix and it drives me CRAZY. If it doesn’t get fixed, I know I will delete the app the next time I get annoyed.
Much Better than Setting Alarms!
The purchase of an Apple Watch, means that even if my phone isn’t in immediate reach I still get reminders, and can mark my medication as taken. This is where I come to the only thing that I think could be improved about the Apple Watch app (it really is very minor and I can’t find anything wrong with the iPhone app). On the iPhone app, if you do not go to Mark a medication as taken more than 1 hour after the original time it is set for (or an hour early for that matter) it gives you the option to set a specific time, say if you took the medication, but forgot to mark it, so you went back to do it later. But on the Apple Watch, this is not an option, it just marks it for that time. The same goes for rescheduling, you can add 10/15 mins etc on but you cannot reschedule it for a specific time.
Like I said these are very minor issues which in no way stop me from using the app, but I hope that if these can be easily implemented, that they will be one day.
Thanks for creating a nearly faultless app!
Watch integration is broken
Very helpful app, two issues
Brilliant App
Since using the app, I’ve been taking my medication more or less on time, and it’s also great for keeping track of what medications you have and how much you have left. I particularly like that I can set a limit to what medication I have left so that I know when to reorder.
The only thing I would like to see added is more options in the time of medication. I’m a Type 2 Diabetic and have to use items such as Lancets to draw blood, wipes to clean the area to be injected and also needles for my FlexPen. It would be nice to be able to add them on to the list of “medication” as it is easy to run out of needles unless you keep track of them. This way, I will be able to keep track of everything I need, not just tablets and jabs.
Other than that, this is a great App, and I felt it necessary to do my first ever App Review because this would be helpful to a lot of people

Great App but ...
What I need is something that warns me of potential OD. I take several pain medications (some opiate based, some paracetamol based and aspirin too).
Prior to using my previous app I have on occasion made terrible mistakes by starting each day as a new day and simply making sure I leave four hours in between doses but this isn’t the case because your 24 hour period is exactly that and. It in isolation to the previous day.
I’d love to see an overdose warning option it’s mainly what I’m looking for in my medication app and most pain sufferers will be too. We only take pain meds when we need them and when in flare of pain this can be continually but still as hoc.
I love this app 💜💜💜
I would like to see a section added into the app for care plans and health information (eg health conditions that I suffer from, allergies & blood type). It would also be nice if the box for notes for adding appointments was bigger and allowed for the text to be on multiple lines and form paragraphs. I would also like to be able to add links to websites when adding contact details for my doctors and to be able to put a custom image for doctors instead of the preset avatars. I would also like to be able to search for a medication that's in my medication list instead of having to scroll to find it because I have quite a long list of medications. It would be nice to also be able to add a doctor or appointment from the + button at the top right of the screen that brings up the ”What would you like to add?” list.
