PlanUp is a substandard app, especially in regards to user experience/usability. But what motivates this review is the new version (3.00). The new version is defective and utterly unreliable. It has multiple defects, but also can “break” the floor plan spontaneously (in my case it has happens during save/finish, and after making changes to walls -it deletes objects). It’s clear that this version wasn’t tested properly, which I find inconsiderate with the users and shows a lack of responsibility. It has been three weeks since this release and Prototec hasn’t solved the problems nor done a rollback to the previous version.
I continue using this app (as it happens with other users) only because it’s the one used by the company I work for.Show lessapiceus

Hi, We are sorry to hear you are having problems. This update has brought some issues and we are working flat out to get them fixed - we are hoping for a new version today in the next couple of days. We can assure you it was tested, unfortunately in all software things do get missed which may seem obvious to you. Due to the nature of doing update via the App Store it is not straight forward doing a rollback, however we are confident with the update due hopefully tomorrow that will address your issues. Crashes constantly, details disappear, can’t handle anything but 90 degree angles or forget getting anything done. Terrible update!crinnyp

I have used planup for years as it was a simple floor plan illustration tool. However it is repeatedly trying and failing to install on my iPad. Please fix asapitsrichphoto

My company requires us to use it, it’s so unreliable that we have to screen save every floor plan we do. It is the only app got worse after its update in my experience with iOS as a whole. What a joke...I can’t believe big company pays big bucks for this useless thingJohnjiang002

This app was not great before this BS ‘quickdraw’ they are pushing on us; but now they removed all kinds of useful things like; the ability to drag one wall away from another!? Where did this go?? Or the tool you used to split walls, you use to be able to drag the splitting tool down the wall and see the distance measurements but now that ability is gone for some reason. AND. It crashes ALL THE TIME!!! And I’m usually not a very new updated iPad! This update has made this app useless ! Get with it PlanUp!Show lesskgiame1

Hi, sorry to hear you are having issues. Feedback from the new QuickDraw feature has been good so please contact us directly if you are having specific issues. Dragging a wall away from another should no longer be needed now you can draw rooms within rooms. Splitting a wall - simply tap on a wall and hit Split wall. Crashes - we have a new version coming in the coming days to fix those. KR, PlanUp.Almost
Got one room done, but moving to the next just wasn't intuitive. No erase button. No delete button to remove a plan. Another failure in a category of apps that just figure out the basics.Zxy123abc8876aasdeewrt

The best floorplan software available, in my opinion..!!
Having now used this software for over 10 years, I wouldn't use or recommend anything else! For me and any estate agent, time is precious and accuracy of details is vital! PlanUp allows me to prepare professional floor plans and property details with relative ease and more importantly allows me to upload the property to our property portals within the hour, giving us the advantage over tour competition. The customer service is second to none from Neil and James,which is important in any business. Overall, our busines would not be in the position it is now ie. number 1 on Rightmove, without this software and the service provided! Thank you!
