Horrible service

The company does not provide what we pay for. Lots of problems and lack of reasonable answers. It is a really bad service. If you can, avoid this company and try to find a better one.

We are better than good.

This is a pretty good VPN service, the app is straightforward and does what it’s supposed to do quite elegantly.

The service offers lightning fast DNS which others don’t, though after a while (days, not hours) a connection can become a bit unstable and require reconnection, which is quick and easy thanks to the app. I expect this issue will be addressed over time.

I strongly recommend this service at the price point on offer. If you want perfect, maybe look to pay 4x as much and take a punt, if you want very good value for money from a good service, and don’t we all, you’ve found it here.

Best vpn

This vpn does what it says it will do I like this app so much. Staff at support are so help full most of them except one person which could not help me in a situation. But other then that mostly all of them new what they were doing to help. I have used lots of vpns but this one for iphone is the best I have used this far keep up the good work all of you are doing except the one person that could not help me in any way *****

Crisp fast clean VPN connections

Been useing Pure VPN now for over 12 months don’t have one complaint using them , I receive nice fast clean connections ,theses guys are going places taking VPN into the next level , HIGHLY RECOMMEND

UNTRUSTWORTHY

Useless for IOS and what I found to be extremely misleading info on the website. Slows systems down immensely! Also states 31 day money back guarantee but hold money to ransom trying desperately to keep customers. State 24x7x365 support but almost 24 hours between each email. Will not provide refund (even though no conditions on website for refunds) as they keep trying to retain me as a customer even though I have stated multiple times I am not staying. Told them within 4 hours of purchase I want a refund & they are still refusing to return my money. Told me I have 31 days to get a refund, see what I think later. Really? If I can’t get it within 4 hours of purchase, what Hope do I have later???? Like a trust you when you are closer to the cut off! I wasn’t born yesterday!!!!! I’m not a fan & will be looking at further action.

Who wants their VPN service tied to your AppleID?!

Got better AND worse - now FORCES another Apple iD connection.

2022 UPDATE - App developer response says contact support as more detail is needed. I have been going back and forth with PureVPN support for weeks now - and the issue continues to be either ignored, intentionally rephrased as so something else - and no me tionas to why PurrVPN now REQUIREs an AppleID? Maddening. 2022 UPDATE While PureVPN has gotten better, the iOS software now REQUIRES an extra link attached to an Apple ID to access the app. Yep, a VPN that now forces an Apple ID sign in. When concerns were shared about this nee requirement, support responds by suggesting customers create another Apple ID for this purpose. ——- 1) Requires manually connecting after device sleeps. ALWAYS have to manually connect. Huge PIA quickly. 2) Most tech support chats result in "delete and reinstall the app" or instructions to manually configure OpenVPN. Support is off-shore btw. 3) Too many taps to turn on or change locations. No Today shortcuts for example. 4) May not work with your cell provider ... and support does not know what to do to address.

Useless App

Always not able to connect get error messages all the time and support tell you the same thing but never works. With slow loading pages. That’s why you pay a low price get poor quality never again. Going back to Nortons at least it’s fast and works every time. Buyers look elsewhere.

Unbelievably slow speeds

I can’t believe I put up with this junk app for the last 3 years!! Unfortunately I was lured into a 5 year subscription and was foolish enough to sign up for the offer without trying it first. Ever since the first day, I noticed that my speed was ridiculously slow and downloads took for ever. A 100mb file would take 20-25 minutes to download and I have rarely seen speeds above 1 Mbps on Speedtest apps. Fortunately I don’t use VPN much, maybe once or twice per month so I bit the bullet since I had already paid for the next 5 years. Despite my many emails and complaints, their customer service only suggestion was to try a different server. Of course that was no help since I have tried most of the servers with no luck. Last week I decided enough was enough and signed up with another app, and boy did I feel the difference!! The new app was more expensive, but is lightning fast. Literally 100 times faster. In the past on Speedtest my speed was 0.88Mbs, but with the new app it would hit 100Mbps. So yes I am annoyed. What a waste of 3 years. I will delete purevpn now and gladly give up the remaining 2 years for my comfort. Never again will I be lured into a long term subscription without trying first.
