Does the job

One star taken away because the ios application gave me some grief for some time. While this problem has gone now after trying different settings in the app I am none the wiser and do not know what solved the problem - several reinstalls had not done so prior. Works well now albeit a bit slow to connect.

VPN for East Africa

PureVPN are my go to VPN service for East Africa. Uniquely they maintain servers there in comparison to their competitors. This gives them a distinct edge in my view and makes travel there a safer experience. The speeds are excellent. I get 65 mbps down and about 12 mbps up which all things considered is very good. A few more servers in surrounding countries would be great. Peace.

On my last 12 month

Had service for over 12 month, and can say its a great vpn, however after the recent update, The purevpn app crashes, its the only vpn on my phone however still remains to crash after re-installing the app, updating, latest ios software, still force closes, doesn't fix anything.

Can't login using iPad app

Having issues accessing on iPad following recent change to login protocols, laughingly intended to "make things easier" for the end user.

After a (very) long chat session with Tech Support it turns out there's a bug which prevents users logging in if their PureVPN account is set up using the same email as their AppleID.

There's a manual workaround using iPad settings but surely this isn't a difficult problem to resolve. So get your fingers out before we start cancelling our subscriptions!

VPN Drops the second you switch to another app or website.

None of your information is private or secured this company take your money for nothing there services are fake. And don’t fall for the dedicated IP that you think you might be buying I spoke via chat and via email to 12 different customer service and technical support representatives and none of them provided me my dedicated IP information and none of them were able to get it to work because that also is also a fave service. They couldn’t offer it to me because they didn’t really have it to offer to begin with this company will soon go under because they will be found out soon enough I am going to post my screenshots on every forum regarding VPN I can find. you’ve been warned

Customer service is abysmal - don’t buy

I bought this service to try it as it was advertised as having a ‘No Risk’ 30 day refund policy if not satisfied.

In the event I was not satisfied that it met my needs and expectations and requested cancellation and refund within 1 week of purchase.

I am now into my 6th email to the company and am no nearer either cancellation or refund. Every email being answered with various delaying questions, options ( including that I should deal with Apple rather than them).

I am fully expecting that I will still be asking for cancellation at the end of the year and that it will then renew automatically.

My advice is stay clear.

Frequently slow and doesn’t mask location

Per the title… frequently too slow to stream and doesn’t mask location. Regret buying the 5yr plan.

** BEWARE **

BEWARE! They advertise a “31-Day Money Back Guarantee” on the front page of their website, but they do NOT honor it. Also, there is no way to simply cancel service. You have to submit a help desk ticket to cancel service, but they won’t cancel your service. I submitted a ticket requesting cancellation 1 day after starting service due to its slowness. The only thing they do is turn off autopay. Repeated attempts to get a refund have failed. This is a company that you do NOT want to trust your data with since they won’t even honor what they advertise. And when you don’t honor what you advertise for the purpose of deception and financial gain then it’s called fraud! Stay far, far away from these fraudsters.

Better performance after upgrade

The first night after upgrading App on mobile,I forgot to disconnect before sleep,but found out it was still in connection when got up the next morning. Never had such stable connection before,it's like being held hand by your close one from falling asleep till the next day.

Reliable VPN Service & easy to use

I signed up with Pure VPN a few years ago, in that time I’ve seen really good improvements. They have a really nice updated app now, and it’s easy to use, shows connection data that some may appreciate more than it just working well & being reliable.

Even with streaming video, using in (US) or out of country servers (Romania, UK, Australia, Russia, & others), Pure VPN is great. No stuttering or artifacted video. If the internet served is bad, VPN can’t fix that.

I have used other VPN service, only a few more than at a time. Pure is the only one I’ve used long term, and I’m thoroughly impressed.
