Vastly improved in the post-uber era
Ever since uber/lyft/etc Dial 7 has really stepped it up with service and good pricing. My go-to when I need advance reservations - drivers always timely and courteous with comfortable and clean carshperk21
Worked great for me.
Arrived at airport, tapped the little icon on the app front page (no more calling the dial 7 number to tell them you arrived). Car was picking me up at JFK within 5 minutes.mg1796442
Doesn't work
It doesn't work. I signed up and it said it would email me to confirm my email address and I never received an email. I thought maybe I typed my email address wrong. I carefully put in my work email address and it still didn't work.Momofonekid
Pretty basic & buggy
This is a decent app for getting a price estimate, but it's not up to the UX of apps like Uber. Every time I enter my address, it changes after I save. If I change one aspect of my trip, I have to re-enter all of my details. I have booked a few trips on here, but I end up having to call to correct my pick up address - so what's the point?Show lessCPDoyle

Waited over 1/2 hr for car pickup at JFK. No apologies, no refund. Have used Dial 7 a few times before , but won't again.Doctor TV
Crap app
Yet another bad NYC car app. Signed up then when I tried to use it it said information was incorrect and then I couldn't fix anything because it said I had a profile already. That it said was wrong. Uber is looking better all the time!Sugarsmac
Fail
I heard from friends to try the Dial 7 car service, so decided to try it for my airport trip from midtown to LGA. Got my confirmation last night and everything was good. Then I got a call at the time they were suppose to pick me up saying they were going to be 20 mins late. So, I told them to cancel it and got an Uber in 3 mins.

Worst Service EVER
Extremely overrated and expensive for what they offer, they arrived on time but in a common car offering a standard service for a very high price. Yellow cabs and Uber do the same job for less.Rickyalvarez79

Dial 7 is the best car service in NYC. They have been in business for decades and they know the business better than any other company. The Dial 7 app is easy to use. Payment is safe and secure. Let's you know when driver has arrived and trip receipt sent to your email. What more could anyone ask for. Who needs Uber and their surge pricing when Dial 7 is faster, easier and more trustworthy.
