Don't know what side of the bed the guy who thinks Uber is better--I decided to give Dial 7 a chance to impress me and they did--above and beyond. Used them about a month ago to pick up a client and bring them out to Long Island to my offices and then to take him to JFK.
I just used them twice more today to take me from my home on Long Island to the upper Eastside of Manhattan and again later in the afternoon to drive me back to Long Island. Every driver we have dealt with and all of their customer service people are highly professional, courteous and perform their jobs in my opinion flawlessly. To me they should put a BIG #1 in front of those 7's because that's how I rate them. I'll continue using Dial7 while all you Uber lovers can continue missing out on what in my opinion is the best car service in New York.Show lessPilotdb18
Uber is better.
They are 40 mins late and not picking up the phone. I would have gotten a uber ride for the same price or less. What else is there to say? They hung up on me twice when I called them.
Experience 2: Thieves and liars. Overcharged me. I should have stuck with the uber surcharge. At least they are honest.Show lessSamerIWarrior
Frequent crashes
Rather unreliable app; hard to rate drivers and generally difficult to use if you need to reschedule.Derby27
App had big problems when I needed it the most
Tried to get a ride from the airport to midtown and it would not recognize my destination. The app kept saying that they don't drop off in that area..what? You don't drop off in Manhattan? I had to use the website to finish my booking.byrdmanut
Useless
This app is useless. They make upgrades with it and try to make it pretty. First I think you should focus on making the app stables before you work on making it look pretty.Merggy
Could be a lot more user friendly
This app has two major flaws. You should be able to cancel or modify any reservation from the app regardless of if it was made by phone or web. Second when I make a reservation online and look at it on the app it does not display the pick up time only the locations. This is very frustrating. Won't accept Card info - can't use
I've always used Dial 7 (call to make reservation) and never had any problems. I figured I'd try the app, but it said not my credit cards were invalid, which they're not and without a CC you can't book via the app. I'll just stick to calling to make a reservation.Tirrod
Too difficult to use

Flight missed!
Worst... app! Showed me the driver is 7 minutes away, I waited over 30 minutes. Driver was rude with dirty so called "luxury" car.

Very glitchy
They ask you to rate the driver, but there's no way to do this once you have completed your trip. Messages appear on your lock screen on iPhone, but when you unlock to read the whole message, it's nowhere to be found. This app needs a lot of work!TravellerX
